This doctor is charging me for a visit I never had. I called in to have my birth control renewed (which happens every few months) and they sent me a bill for a "telehealth visit with Dr. Choe". I called into the office and spoke with someone who told me it was resolved and then received another bill a month later. After calling again, they told me that they had held an internal review and determined that the telehealth appointment did happen. Worst gynecologist I have ever seen. I had to see her to get more birth control pills and she forced me to get a Pap. When the results of the Pap came back she didn’t warn me and did a biopsy. Turned out there was nothing wrong and she just cut out my flesh. I was in so much pain for three days and she didn’t even prescribe painkillers or apologize. Ended up taking two days off work. Seems like she doesn’t know what a woman should look like inside. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. Worst gynecologist I have ever seen. Incompetent receptionist. Had a medical emergency and the lady never sent over my medical perscriptions over to my pharmacist. Had to wait an extra day even after I've verified their address and phone number before leaving their office

Steer clear of this doctor and CareMount medical unless you have the energy to advocate for your own gynecological health. The staff is curt and overworked, while the doctor just doesn't seem to care enough to be helpful. Dr. Choe showed little sensitivity to my questions and concerns, oversimplified explanations to the point of misrepresenting the severity of my situation, and rushed me through my initial consultation. In the end, I was the one who pushed for retesting. She would have been happy to let me go through with a procedure I ended up not needing. Steer clear of this doctor and CareMount medical unless you have the energy to advocate for your own gynecological health. Unless you're willing to be assertive and to do the research necessary to advocate for your own gynecological health, I'd say steer clear of Dr. Choe and CareMount medical. The office staff are overworked and curt, and the doctor is insensitive and condescending. She demonstrated poor bedside manner and made me feel rushed and stupid for asking about possible alternatives to a procedure (which I ended up not needing). You're better off taking your time and money elsewhere. I saw Dr. Choe twice and was happy with her. She was gentle with my annual and very nice and friendly. I am giving 3 stars because of a recent experience where I was away on vacation and forgot my birth control. I reached out to the on-call emergency line and asked that my prescription be sent to the CVS closest to me. I was told that Dr. Choe was the on call doctor and did not see this as an emergency. Not only was I denied birth control while away on vacation, but Dr. Choe did not call me to explain the side effects of missing my birth control for x amount of days. She also never followed up with me. For this reason I will no longer be seeing her or anyone else in the Murray Hill Medical Group for fear that she will be the on call doctor when I have an emergency. Please avoid this doctor by any means necessary and seek care elsewhere. I was referred to Dr. Choe for a LEEP procedure after an abnormal Pap smear and colposcopy. She rushed me through my initial consultation, (falsely) told me I "basically" had cancer, and presented no alternatives to the LEEP procedure (which can affect a women's ability to carry a pregnancy to term). I had to advocate for myself to have a colposcopy repeated, which was the right thing to do, since my abnormal cells have since improved. What topped it all of was a surprise message I received from Choe accusing me of lying about her when I contacted CareMount's billing department about my visit. In short, she is disorganized, insensitive, and condescending. Steer clear of her!

Dr. Choe was actually pretty good. Answered my questions etc. However, her office and staff are just the worst kind of people. They're rude and very incompetent at their job. I would never go back to her due to this.

Worst doctor I've ever seen. I had severe bleeding mid cycle and she brushed it off as a side effect of my birth control. Even though I've taken that birth control for years and have never had this reaction. She didn't ask for any of my medical history, never even performed a physical exam (literally didn't even touch me), did not listen to my concerns at all. I'm making an appointment with another doctor who will actually listen and care.

Poor bedside manner

This doctor is an uncaring, insensitive doctor who made little to no eye contact with me the entire time. Worst of all, she barely took any time to listen to my concerns and made me feel silly when she practically giggled at something I was worried about. This is the last thing you expect from a doctor who should try to honor a trusting and confidential relationship. WORST of all though, is her lack of medical expertise. She misdiagnosed me, sent me into a series of unnecessary, dangerous tests.

I went to Dr. Choe because I was having severe issues with PMDD. Right away I could tell that she didn't understand the severity of my condition and she told me that just because I was feeling emotional didn't mean there was anything wrong with me. I asked additional questions to insure her prescription was the brand preferred she said it was fine for me to take the generic which DOES NOT work for me. She prescribed me generic TWICE. Also it is impossible to reach the office--15+ on hold
