Dr. Jenelle L Olson

Dr. Olson was very kind, attentive and helpful at my visit with her. She shows concern for the wellbeing of her patients, and I trust her with any advice she gives me. One of the very BEST.

Dr. Olson performed a difficult, complicated intestinal surgery on me in 2010. My personal physician frankly was not sure that anyone could make it through that particular procedure, which lasted for several hours. I did, and Dr. Olson's determination and skill were major reasons. Why write a review after 10 years? Because the ultimate measure of the skill with which a medical procedure is performed is its long-term effectiveness. I have had no serious follow-on problems in 10 years. Dr. Olson is a dedicated, skilled surgeon.

Dr. Olson performed two different hernia surgeries on me. The first was under emergency conditions to correct an incarcerated colon. The second was elective to repair a different hernia. Both surgeries were completely successful and I have had no further problems. I was VERY favorably impressed with the level of care that Dr. Olson provided. She was very easy to talk to and her advice was easy to understand and follow. I was so impressed with her that I recommended her to a friend who also saw her for surgery. Dr. Olson, treated me like a fellow human being and not just a "patient".

Did not have a good experience. Starting with the appointment where she did not explain the surgery options and ending with problems after the surgery. Never got a followup phone call.

horrible doctor

Very skilled physician with a pleasant personality. Made me feel at ease during the whole process and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the various procedures

Superb and watchful hospital care from emergency room, through hospitalization and follow up appointments. Dr. O is kind and very professional. Her presence takes the worry out of recovery.

Extremely rude and unwilling to spend time with patient during initial consultation. If you need surgery, find a different doctor. I wouldn't trust her for a moment.
