Dr. Jeffrey I Stein

Although Dr. Stein may be a good surgeon/dentist, he sorely lacks empathy. My experience was extremely stressful during procedure. He became annoyed with me and had his assistants (who were wonderful) calm me down. He then came back into the room and apologized. Maybe he had a bad day but no matter the patient needs to be comfortable and feel completely safe. I would not recommend him for this reason.

Dr Stein is an excellent oral surgeon. He is a caring surgeon who helped me feel relaxed and comfortable during my recent tooth extraction. The dental procedure was very successful thanks to his patience, and skill.

Outstanding doctor! My son had an impacted molar which was laying at a 90 degree angle (with the surface toward the front of his mouth and flat against the next molar). We were shocked and horrified when we learned about it. Dr. Brigham (Orthodontist) gave us a few names of oral surgeons as we decided how to best proceed with this situation. Some oral surgeons said there might be some nerve damage if they removed that tooth and that Ryan might need an implant in the future. We obtained multiple opinions on what to do and some wouldn't touch the tooth. Dr. Brigham came up with a plan that was cutting edge; to remove the wisdom tooth which reduced the chance of nerve damage and pull the tooth up into the correct position. We chose Dr. Stein of White Plains, who is incredible and marveled at Dr. Bridgham's plan of action. Dr. Stein actually painlessly performed the surgery of removing the wisdom tooth, removing some bone, exposing the impacted molar and placing an anchor (which would not damage the tooth) and didn't ask my husband or I to leave the room during the procedure!!!This was a truly unexpected comfort to our son, and to us as parents. It was also virtually painless! This came as a surprise since my daughter needed two simple baby teeth removed, and they made us leave and she was traumatized by that terrible event (we have multiple gripes about that office). Also, my own impacted wisdom tooth (different office) was excruciating. Dr. Brigham was able to gracefully and painlessly turn the tooth 90 degrees and Ryan now has a perfect smile! I want to thank Dr. Stein for caring for my son, he is brilliant, talented, and is an incredible person to take care of all of us and made it "no big deal". I won't go anywhere else!
