I found Dr Shih to be very knowledgeable and thorough, and very easy to communicate with. He helped put at ease over what my issues could be.

Not interested in anyone's input but his own. Doesn't listen to staff or patients often decides the problem before meeting a patient and sticks too it. Puts lices at risk with his arrogance. He is more often wrong than right.

My father had a massive heart attack many years ago. Dr. Shih has been taking care of my father ever since. He spends an hour with us every visit and is never rushed. We get all our questions answered.

If I could give him a zero i would. It is beyond me how he even had a license still.

Dr. Shih doesn't listen to his patients. If his patients ask too many questions he dismisses them and just stops going to see them. He is the ultimate in 'my way or the highway'

I had the displeasure of having Dr. Shih on his inpatient rotation at tufts a handful of times. Nurses, staff and patients alike dread when it is his rotation. He has a bad track record of disregarding information coming from the patients and jumping to the most likely conclusion. My own health and safety had been put at risk multiple times by him to the degree I would rather switch my entire hospital and team of 15 years to get away from him. He is negligent. There isn't another word. He approaches every situation as though they are the same, not every patient is his sister and he needs to learn to leave his baggage at the door so he cqn have a clear head.

Spent a lot of time with my mother.

Doesn't listen. If you disagree with him he becomes indignant. Wouldn't recommend him.
