Dr. Jeffrey Scott Mimbs

Dr. MIMBS is someone who is personable, kind and professional. I appreciate his straightforwardness and attention to explaining details of my condition to help me better understand it, and procedures to take place, that will help and/or correct it. I TRUST Dr. MIMBS with my care, my life and my recovery process. He has proven he can be trusted throughout the process. I am very grateful for his expertise and resourcing to accomplish a BEST outcome. I have, and will, continue to eagerly - without reserve - recommend him to every one that comes across my path with spinal and/or neurological needs.

Saw Dr. MIMBS march 2021. This doctor was extremely inappropriate with me, calling me doll over and over. Between flirting he was dismissive of the pain ive dealt with daily for 7 years now. I had to show him photos of my foot to backnup my expierience, when i was only there to get his opinion on stenosis. I even showed him a photo of the night before my appointment when my foot was swollen and purple. In my chart he wrote "she went on and on rambling". Yeah mr. Mimbs, thats what happens when someone with ptsd is being harrased by a preditor. I had to tell you the stimulator you were pushing on me is when the crps spread into my lower back.I suggest going back to medical school where you will learn crps has no cure

I was admitted to Enloe ER dept in mid Feb presenting with a seizure of unknown origin. This man Jeffrey Mimbs, DO told me that I should just "go home". As it turns out there are people at Enloe with a "clue" as to health care. I was transported to UCSF in San Francisco and diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma and am now under treatment with a good recovery expected. What kind of FOOL would recommend that a seizure patient just to home without diagnosing the cause of the seizure. Sounds like malpractice to me. I have a lot of respect for someone who holds people’s lives in their hands. He has always been direct and I hope to get through my injury very soon.

Dr mimbs is awesome

This is my second attempt to post a review. I hope it works this time. 1) Nearly ten years ago I fell from a ladder and suffered a traumatic head injury. My skull was shattered. My brain was bleeding. I could have died. Dr. Mimbs put me back together. GOOD WORK DR. MIMBS! 2) I was just diagnosed with a brain tumor. I met with Dr. Mimbs at his office this week. He spent about an hour with me. He explained everything. He was clear. He gave me his attention. He answered questions. His manner could not have been better. 3) There is a one star review of him on this website. That one star review does not not at all reflect me experience with him. I give him five stars. I highly recommend him. 4) He did something this week that really made me respect him. He referred me to another neurosurgeon that he thought would be better than him to perform the surgery I need. He said the part of my brain that needs surgery is not a part he really knows. That demonstrated complete integrity.

Over 450 miles round trip for three office visits. Saw doctor once.

When we first met Dr. Mimbs it was at Enloe hospital where our son learned he had a brain tumor and Dr.Mimbs performed the biopsy. I wrote a review on that experience. Today was the post-op appointment at Dr. Mimbs private office. Dr. Mimbs patiently explained everything to us, answered questions with out being rushed. Some terms we didn't understand and he went over those topics and made sure we understood before leaving. Thank you Dr. Mimbs

Dr Mimbs is very talented in Neurosurgery. I would gladly have Dr. Mimbs operate on my neck again. I have total trust in Dr. Mimbs!

Was the best Doctor I've ever met, great sense of humor and really cared about making his patients feel comfortable, very easy to talk to and really listened to me and was very respectful
