Everyone was really nice and helpful.

Dr. Mathews has given exceptional care. He is knowledgeable and compassionate.

Dr Matthew is a very nice guy and takes time with you and answers any questions you might have about the procedure you are having. His nurse Megan is super sweet. Would highly recommend him for anything you are having done.

Dr. Matthews was very professional. On my initial visit he explained the procedure and on the post surgical visit Dr. Matthews answered all my questions. Very satisfied.

The entire office, admin/check-in, nurse and Doctor were all professional, polite, and courteous. I don't like going to ANY medical facility, but these professionals made the visit much more palatable. I appreciate their thoroughness.

Well he checks all the boxes for a great surgeon and I'm ONLY giving him a 4 ☆ because he hasn't preformed my surgery yet. He has the best bedside manner and very thorough with check ups.

If I could rate the doctor individually, I would give him a 5 for professionalism and a job well done. However, I have been fighting with their billing department for 3 months to fix a billing mistake that affected my deductibles and out of pocket expenses. It has been a nightmare trying to get them to follow up and take care of my problem they created. They are quick to ask for money and take an exuberant amount of time to fix an issue. I would recommend Dr. Mathews for surgery, but I would double and triple check that they are billing you correctly! My first visit. Very professional, friendly staff. Was attended to in a very timely manner. Based on my first experience, would highly recommend.

One of the nicest Dr you could ever meet. If down the road I have to have more surgery, if he can do the surgery, then that is who I will see.

Dr. Mathew’s is a doctor that will talk to you and listen to your concerns. He scheduled the test quickly. I’m hoping to find out what’s going on and get back to my life. Vickie

I had to have emergency surgery by Dr. M in April 2018 then in July 2019 I was having more trouble from the same area he did surgery so I hunted Dr. M down and had him look at me again and I ended up having to do surgery again. Nice doctor that listens to the patient. Laid back but good at what he does, got me in and out in a timely manner. Good beside manner and friendly.

Dr. Mathews was very friendly and professional. He described clearly what the procedure (gall bladder removal) would entail. He did an excellent job in describing what the recovery period would be like.

There is never a long wait to go from reception area to the office room. Staff is courteous with a special shout out to RN Eva Smith Raines. Dr. Matthews is professional and efficient. I recommend ths practice wholeheartedly!

Dr. Matthews is an excellent doctor. He treated me with kindness and professionalism. He explained my options, and listened intensely. I highly recommend Dr.Matthews he is wonderful!

Mathews was amazing he Really helped me out . I loved him , his nurse , an the guy who works at the front desk was great too. Such a great place I will definitely recommend him to anyone I ever know that ever needs a surgeon. If I ever have to have any more procedures I hope he will be the one taking care of me

Dr. Mathews is a really great guy! I had my gallbladder removed by him and he made sure everyone came and talked to me to explain everything. He also explained how the procedure worked and got me in as soon as he could! He has a great sense of humor which helped calm me down before I was taken back to surgery and he was, overall, a very calming presence. Overall, great guy and great surgeon! Initial visit was good and no problems with colonoscopy & endoscopy. However, after 10 months of trying they refuse to send a report of findings to either my primary care office or to me.

He is forgetful and rude. I would not recommend him.

Great surgeon!

Just wanted to thank everyone including summit outpatient.Everyone was very informative and the hospital staff was all great.It makes for a great experience.I am going to be home recovering for a while.Thank everyone involved.

From the front desk to the operating room, there is nothing but kindness, compassion and professionalism. He and his staff are so very attentive. Dr Mathews is wonderful and one of the few providers that will sit on your bed and really talk with you!

Dr. Mathews and his staff (Misty and Lorretta) are absolutely amazing.... Dr. Mathews is so caring and has the most respectful attitude and bedside manners I have ever experienced... he took care of my family as his own and so down to earth ... he answered all my questions and made us feel comfortable with confidence... I would definitely refer him and his staff to anyone ... disregard all the negative comments you see or hear about this physician you need to meet him and experience for yourself

I would not recommend this man for anyone or anything. He operated on my Granny last Wednesday & she died on Monday. Her kidneys went to sleep after surgery & he did nothing but tell us her levels showed everything was fine--she ended up having to have dialysis. Her heart Dr ordered a ct scan & dr Matthews said everything showed normal but once her pcp seen the scan another surgery was ordered where they found all of her intestines had died. I feel he should have paid better attention to Granny.

I was visiting my sister in Lebanon for a few days when bad stomach pain and sickness landed me in the ER. Test result showed it was my Appendix. This is when I met Dr. Mathews. He was very knowledgeable and excellent!! Had my post op appointment yesterday. The office staff was very friendly. Dr. Mathews was very down to earth with the feel that I had known him for a while. I would highly recommend and go back to Dr. Jeffrey Mathews for any of my surgerical needs!!

I had DCIS (Breast Cancer) back in 2010, Dr. Mathews was my surgeon & he ia an excellent surgeon! He also did an abdominal surgery for me & again the experience was a good one. I am going to needing another surgery, and I know I will be in good hands with Dr. Mathews. I have every confidence in him. I would highly recommend Dr. Mathews.

Dr. Mathews is down-to-earth and really put me at ease about my gallbladder surgery. He is awesome and I'd recommend him to anyone needing surgery.
