Outstanding physician in every aspect, very comprehensive knowledge of eye diseases and interventions, a highly skilled surgeon that is personable, caring, and compassionate. He addressed my questions fully and his level of care and monitoring of his patients is unsurpassed, easily the most qualified ophthalmologist of the many I considered.

I have been a patient at Fishkind, Bakewell, Maltzman, Hunter for over three years. My primary provider is Dr. Maltzman. He is a fantastic ophthalmologist. He is very knowledgeable, kind and spends as much time as you need with him. Dr. Maltzman will answer all of your questions. Macular degeneration runs in my family and he is always watching for signs I may start having it. Also he just finished my second cataract surgery and my eye site now is unbelievably great. My visit and following two surgeries with Dr Maltzman could not have been better. Excellent results!

I had cataract surgery in both eyes ultimately, and I a very happy patient. I experienced degraded vision in both eyes in the last couple years, and after researching available doctors, chose Dr. Maltzman's office. From the first visit he made me feel comfortable with what my options were, with absolutely no pressure to get surgery or obtain glasses to improve my vision. I opted for the surgery and I'm glad I did. My vision is dramatically improved. So much clearer, brighter, and can see sharper details. It's priceless really. Dr. Maltzman and his staff did an excellent job in all phases of this experience. There are very good doctors out there, but I give extra praise to Dr. Maltzman for his ability to communicate with clarity, allowing time for any questions and further discussion as needed. And of course his excellent skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone with eyecare concerns.

Efficient and very concerned with your comfort and relaxation during all phases of the surgery procedure are good descriptions experienced with my operation. In Pre Op, I was prepared with eye numbing drops, and fitted with an IV to facilitate anesthesia administration. I was wheeled into the operating theater, and all procedures were comfortable, and not at all like I had incorrectly anticipated.. They are very sure to inform you of everything you have to do prior to, and after the surgery, and provide a packet of written information to ensure your understanding. The surgery was painless, quick and efficient and over before I knew it, the surgery was over, even though I remained conscious during the whole procedure. After care was efficient ending in a call at my house after arrival. Follow up appointment the next day to make sure all was ok. Information packets ensured I took the proper drops. Dr. Maltzman is the best - 20/20 vision when I was told only 20/30 was possible.

As I pondered the need for cataract surgery, I searched the internet and discovered Dr. Maltzman. He has impeccable credentials, and he proved to be the excellent surgeon his credentials purported. He put me at ease when explaining the procedure for the operation, and he demonstrated his skill in the operation itself. The follow-up care was through and the staff professional. The whole process went smoothly with no problems at all. I can now see amazingly! I highly recommend Dr Maltzman!

Had cataract surgery in both eyes and can't believe how great it turned out! Things are more clear, brighter and vivid! Dr. Maltzman is one of the best! Dr. Maltzman and staff are extremely helpful and efficient. Highly recommend him. Wish I could give more than 5 stars, he deserves 10!!

I have had Dr. Maltzman for many years as my ophthalmologist. He has always been highly professional and very helpful in my decisions about my eyes. I just had two PanOptix trifocals lenses implanted with cataract surgery. I was thrilled with the instant results. The surgical center is run efficiently and professionally with very caring staff. I had total confidence in Dr. Maltzman.

Needed a short-notice second opinion for the military and Dr. Maltzman’s office was able to fit me into the schedule quickly. Dr. Maltzman is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He took the time to explain my exam results in understandable language and he went above and beyond in providing documentation for the military. I highly recommend his services and I’ll return to him should the need arise in the future.

Dr. Jeffrey Maltzman's office and surgical center is like a well oiled machine. Everything runs on schedule, surgery staff are excellent, helpful, caring and most of all work well with the doctor. I had a problem that resulted in a change of how they would freeze the eye. It was handled professionally and did not result in a delay of the surgery. Next eye they had all the information and proceeded without any questions. I was very happy with the care I received and do not hesitate to recommend him at all.

Dr. Maltzman has been my ophthalmologist for 9 years and I have always been quite pleased. Dr. Maltzman did a truly excellent job cataract surgery with implants for long range vision. I had good quick recovery from both surgeries with practically no pain or discomfort and excellent recovery time. I have been putting this surgery off for years, and he stuck with me and explained my options thoroughly at each eye exam until I was ready to undergo the surgery.

I was looking for an Ophthalmologist with great credentials and wonderful patient reviews. I did the research and was not disappointed when I met Dr. Maltzman. He was very professional and explained things very well. He has a genuine concern for his patients, and our improved eyesight is his top priority. He is a skilled surgeon and recently did cataract surgery on my right eye. The whole surgery experience was wonderful. My vision is amazing with the Symfony lense. Left eye next week!

I had been unsuccessfully treated with eye drops for Glaucoma for 1.5 years prior to seeing Dr. Maltzman. He immediately scheduled surgery and even came in on a Saturday when I had extreme pain in my eye. The surgery went very successful and did not require any adjustments as is often needed. Dr. Maltzman detected a problem with my retina and directed me to an excellent professional which saved my eyesight. He worked with this other doctor to determine the correct time for my cataract surgery which was a great success. Dr. Maltzman has given me the greatest gift, great eyesight. I have been Dr. Maltzman's patient for several years since moving to the Tucson area in 2002. He provides excellent service. He explains particular conditions intelligently and for a layman's understanding. I recently had cataracts removed from both eyes and lens adjustments made. I now have 20/20 vision in one eye and can read with the other. Terrific result since I don't think I will need any glasses other than sun glasses. You really know he cares about you and your eyes' health.

Called on a Saturday because I was suddenly experiencing flashes and floaters. I was afraid my retina was detaching. When I called their service, I was immediately connected to Dr. Maltzman. He told me to come in and he would open up the office to examine my eyes. I couldn’t believe it! I was so scared, and the peace of mind to have him check out this sudden onset eye issue (on a weekend!) was priceless!

Four eyes,two extremely happy people. We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Maltzman. He is just wonderful. His staff is very pleasant and helpful. Both of us were at the point where we had to give up driving so to be able to see well again was a miracle We would both recommend him highly - and do whenever we talk to someone who is looking for a cataract surgeon.

I have 2 major eye diseases and have had them for quite some time. Due to changes in insurance, I had to seek out another doctor. Dr Maltzman, I found, was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. I was not disappointed with him in any way. He clarified my 2 eye diseases with good explanation for me to understand. I will return to him. He was very gracious.

As a retired Physician myself, I believe I have a credible perspective on what constitutes good medical care. I received just that from Dr Maltzman. He was prompt, courteous, and efficient and most important correctly diagnosed my problem and quickly referred me to the appropriate specialist for follow up. The care I recived from Dr Maltzman was excellent in all ways.
