Doctor Klugman is fine. Our surgery went well. My poor review is about the way this office is run. You have to talk to multiple people to get something done meaning a simple answer about whether an overpayment check is mailed or not requires talking to multiple people, one of which is never available and does not return calls. After two months follow up, I have yet to receive the check. If you need forms to be filled out for work, you will make numerous calls and emails until they fill out the forms with the right information. It is a lot easier to deal with a hospital than this practice.

Professional, staff, kind, caring, people. Spotless clean sterile environment, I felt safe, and comfortable.

Except for their refusal to offer a “frequent visitor” punch card for my home of three active boys - everything was great. We had a shorter wait than I expected and the staff was warm and friendly to my 5 year old.

Dr. Klugman and the whole office staff are truly professional and amazing at their jobs. I was seen right away with no waiting and all my questions and concerns were addressed. I recommend this Practice to both children and adults.

Dr. Klugman is such an amazing doctor!. I cannot say enough great things about him. He is literally a saving grace. When my son needed emergency surgery on his hand 3 times he came to the rescue. In our eyes he is an blessing. Thank you for all you do Dr.Klugman!

My experience with this practice and specifically Dr. Klugman was fantastic. Him and the staff were great and very detailed in explaining my procedure. Everything went as expected with zero issues and my pain is a thing of the past. Highly recommend.

Showed up for my 9:30 appointment and was seen immediately. No wait at all. Dr. Klugman diagnosed my hand pain and explained exactly what was causing the problem. We discussed treatment options and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience and Dr. Klugmans attention to my needs. I already feel improvement.

Dr.Klugman is the Very Best! Very Good Bed side manner. Super Smart and makes sure you don't have any questions . His Office staff is all very nice and efficient. The therapy is next door so that's nice to go over after at the same place. If I ever need a Hand Dr. again for myself or my children or Friends this is who we will see.

I had a successful thumb surgery with a negotiated, self-pay cash price. I paid upfront. This is where the good part ends. Now I get a pathology bill from Northside for $3200 (and now a new bill for $3700) and he plays dumb. I didn't authorize any of these charges but yet they are trying to give me the bill! Didn't know there was going to be any additional charges! I paid upfront! This 1 star review stays unless rectified. Update: I am upgrading this review from 1 to 3 stars. This is only because Northside helped rectify the billing issue. Great props to Northside for understanding the circumstances and resolving in a fair manner. The 3 stars represents good technical skills only. Communication and transparency on billing is poor. Update 2/4: Yet another bill comes my way from a third party for unauthorized services. The staff over the phone was indifferent. The appointment took several calls and call-backs over 30-45 minutes to get set. Dr. Klugman was emotionally tone def. After telling him my 15 year old son was a high athletic recruit, he told him not to even think about going pro (unprovoved). When rushing out of the room, he blurted out instruction to come take a look at X-ray with him. My son asked if he wanted him to come because it was unclear given Dr. Klugman was walking out of the examination room looking at neither of us. Dr. Klugman's reply? "It's your hand. Yeah, you should come". In relation to bedside manner, the doctor told us everything that could possibly go wrong without balancing or weighting probabilities (I had to probe). My son who is very level-headed looked horrified and stressed. Short of the long, I went to another doctor for a second opinion. MUCH better experience than Dr. Klugman's. Maybe it was a bad day for him. For us, a horrible experience.

very knowledge, precise doctor which I would expect for a detailed surgeon. He has a tendency to hurry through appt, but if you ask a question he slows down & explains things until you are comfortable. always thinking through all possible complications to get the best outcome. I would pick him to do another surgery without question. What I don't like is the automated check in. I have to put my dl and ins card through a reader and touch screen. The office has this info so sync up with the days appt to make checking in easier and only request new ins info if you check that it is diff than last time you were in. The "check out" person gets overwhelmed easily has a hard time multitasking. I don't like that she rushes through making appt and collecting money is her priority. I like things to go through my ins first and get a bill in the mail. This gives me time to ensure correct, that I can pay from an acct that I want and that it was processed by ins correctly. It is embarrassing

Great experience! Dr, Klugman and his staff were both friendly and professional. They treated my problem yesterday and my wrist already is already feeling better!

Besides being an excellent hand surgeon, he literally changed my life. He is the first doctor in 20 years that paid attention to all my symptoms and made sure I saw the appropriate doctors, I’m not exaggerating when I say he changed and possibly saved my life.

Dr. Klugman is very caring and kind. He takes the time to explain your condition and very clear on what can be done to resolve it. I didn’t feel rushed during the consultation. The staff is very professional and friendly. This is a great and well ran office.

Dr. Klugman and his team are by far the most incredible, caring, professional, knowledgeable hand and arm physician and care team. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. I have had some unfortunate circumstances and some surgical needs that have put me in their office more times than I care to think about, but when the latest accident happened and I went to the ER and they told me that I would need to see an orthopedist, I was not afraid. Dr Klugman did an amazing job on my son's finger surgery! My sons finger was definitely going to be deformed after his accident but after doing some searching for a better doctor we found this office and my son's finger looks perfect after his surgery. Dr Klugman and his staff we extremely kind and helpful all the way through and the hospital we did the surgery at is THE BEST!!! Dr. Klugman and his staff go out of their way to make this a pleasant experience. Each person took their time to make sure I was comfortable with what was required for my treatment. What I really like about Dr. Klugman is that takes the time to listen as well as do a thorough examination in order to fully diagnose your problem. Once done, he discusses treatment options and when choices exist gives you as much information as possible to allow you to decide what’s the best course of action. My family doctor referred me to Dr. Klugman after a fall. Had an odd break at my wrist that required a plate and screws. The entire experience was first rate. First contact through hand therapy, his entire team was professional, courteous and competent. He is clearly a great surgeon and very easy to talk to.

Dr Klugman is incredibly smart, attentive and treats his patients with respect. He doesn’t just blaze through the meetings. He genuinely listens and explains things for you. His staff is incredible.

Friendly, kind, patient staff. Dr Klugman is an excellent surgeon that I would recommend to anyone I know. He’s very gentle and reassuring. He is also great with my small children. The waiting room is neat and clean. It has adequate seating and books for children, as well as magazines. There is also a television airing kids cartoon movies. So the little ones will not have many issues with keeping occupied while waiting to be seen. Wait time is ideal. Parking is one flat rate. The elevators come fast, so getting to the top floor is a breeze. I’ve never spent more than 15 minutes there, after being called to the back. They also give kids lollipops and stickers, how cute. Dr. Klugman is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. My experience from initial diagnosis, through pre-op, surgery, and post-op has been 5 Star. He’s very caring and easy to talk to. Great guy all around. The staff/team is 5 Star as well. Great communicators. I highly recommend.

First visit and I was very pleased. On time courteous and informative. Dr. Klugman and his staff worked well with my son and I. They explained everything very well.

My daughter was seen at the Cummings location. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Almost no wait time. Our appointment was at 8:45 and we were out by 9:30. The doctor was excellent. While I like and respect Dr Dr. Klugman, the wait times at his office are atrocious - always over an hour and often more like two. If not for the wait times I would give him 5 stars.

My son was referred to Dr. Klugman after a visit to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) emergency room. My son plays travel baseball and is no stranger to Sports Medicine/Orthopedic facilities. After seeing other physicians for overca year to determine the pain in his hand/wrist, Dr. Klugman was quickly able to diagnose the problem. My son needed surgery to remove a fractured hook of the hamate bone. An uncommon fracture, but common in baseball players. Considering it was an important time in baseball for my son, he wanted to quickly get back to playing the sport. Dr. Klugman prioritized and performed the surgery immediately. The surgery was a success! Dr. Klugman and his entire staff, including Sasha and Chris, are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, dedicated, and most importantly - caring. Initially, I was hesitant to go to the CHOA ER vs. my son's orthopedist. Dr. Klugman and his staff were very nice and knowledgeable to me when I had a cyst taken off of my middle right finger in December of 2017. Even though it seemed like a simple procedure, they made me feel I was very important. Dr. Klugman is a very kind and caring doctor and listened to all concerns I had including arthritis questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Klugman and his staff.
