I feel I was grossly overcharged for an office visit. My copay should have been $60 or less. My insurance company was billed $288 for a regular office visit with no treatment, therapy or testing. My insurance company paid 1/2 of this sum leaving me with a $144 payment. I called Straub about the charge and explained my copayment were usually $35. They had no answer except to tell me that’s what they charge

I got a diagnosis and was given a prescription. Then I received a bill for $144. That my insurance would g pay. I tried to call Straub but they had no explanation for the egregious charge.
