Dr George is absolutely one of the best Doctors I have ever known or treated by. He has the best bed side manners and shows more care and compassion than most Doctors. He is extremely nice and caring about his patients, far as I am concerned he saved my life. I have been cancer free for 10 years and I owe it to him. Excellent care, on time appointments, great staff, great treatment outcome.

The only problem I’m having is breaking out with blisters on my hand 3 days after my last treatment

I am so lucky Dr George is my cancer doctor he has been keeping me alive and helping me for 16 year's now.Any one in need of the best cancer doctor should see him for any treatment.Thank you Dr George.

Doctor George has been my oncologist since 2012, first with Multiple Myeloma (in remission) and now with prostate cancer since 2018 and in my opinion a great doctor who takes time with me to answer all my questions and helps me make those very important decisions that have to be made.

This man is incredible. The hospital is very lucky to have him. His nurse practitioner was wonderful too and I’m upset I don’t remember her name but Dr. George went out of his way to help me with a situation were most doctors would probably not because it’s just more work for them and him and his nurse practitioner were so helpful and kind when I was stressed out. I just can’t tell you how hard it is to get a doctor who is professional and knowledgeable BUT ALSO has great bedside manners with their patients and Dr. George and his nurse practitioner have ALL of those characteristics you want. I’ve had cancer twice and have seen plenty of doctors in my time and Dr. George and his nurse practitioner are top shelf. Staff is lovely as well I can tell you from experience Dr. George and his staff care about their patients truly.

Dr. George literally saved my life. He took excellent care of me, and now when I have my checkups, we get to talk about his children and my grandchildren. You see, I didn’t have any grandchildren when I was diagnosed. My daughters had just recently gotten married, and my husband and I were adjusting to empty nest. Now, eight years later, I have four grandchildren, and every single day is a blessing. I owe many of those blessings to Dr. George.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. George on 8+ occasions and he has always been very professional with me.

I had a good visit with dr George. He I s a caring dr and wants to know how you are feeling . Always ask me if i need anything. Dr george seems to be interested in my well being.

He took me from stage IV TO remission.. and was always there with anything I went through.. even when I had other issues and doctors he Was ALWAYS there checking on me....

No one wants to hear the “C-word”, and when you hear it, the fear that it brings is hard to hide. Dr. George has been patient, kind, understanding, honest, and straightforward every step of the way as I have navigated my way through my fight against Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. He’s researched, collaborated, discussed, and carefully weighed every drug I have taken in order to ensure that my cancer is kept under control and that I am able to function and enjoy life as much as I can. I know Dr. George understands how much my treatments’ success means. He’s not just a doctor, he’s a parent. We want to see our kids grow up. Dr. George is an excellent oncologist. I trust him with my life!

Dr George is wise beyond his years . He has always been professional and always answers my questions .

At first I was satisfied because Dr. George was very competent, and maybe this isn't his fault, but working with the Southern Cancer Center has been a nightmare and he has shown very little initiative to help. It's impossible to get a direct line to him and I've called at least a dozen times to try and work things out. If the Southern Cancer Center wants a day off before a holiday that's fine, but they haven't lifted one finger to try and work with me, my wife, and the entirety of blue cross and blue shield to accommodate our schedule as well. If you have a loved one going through cancer consider this before going to the Southern Cancer Center because my experience has been very lack luster

I cannot give Dr. George a high enough review. This man walked with me through years of chemo, radiation, surgery and scans when others gave me no hope of surviving. His personal and professional way of handling patients must be applauded. Thank you Dr. George for your outstanding care. I am grateful!
