He was able to diagnose my daughter in just a few minutes of seeing her when no one else could! He was very thorough explaining what her condition was and how to resolve it. Was very reassuring. Definitely recommend as a pediatric gastro!

Dr. Bornstein have cared for our son Stephon since he was 12 years old, Dr. Bornstein is like family. And would not change it for the world. Our son is 25 years old now. As of 2021 in a long time that he's back in the hospital and caught Covid19, and now it's messing with his kidneys. This was and still a struggle for any family or mother to watch their child suffer a illness you can't help but the only help is being by there side. Dr. Bornstein staff are so amazing especially Brenda Ortiz. Thank you see you soon for the support are recommendations for adults since he's over age. I don't even want to think where we would be without Dr. Bornstein and his entire team. We were referred to him by our pediatrician and he treated us as if we were long time family patients. He listens intently, is extremely knowledgeable, and makes sure to give the best care. His nurse Mary is an angel and has made this stressful time so much calmer. When I say the whole team, I mean it. I am grateful for them all. Because of his quick thinking, my child is now able to get the proper care they need. Again, so grateful. Dr. Bornstein is an amazing specialist, together we worked as a team to care for my daughter. Dr Bornstein is caring, patient and took the time to ensure I had an appropriate level of understanding for her health. I can’t thank him and his staff enough for the support and knowledge. Dr. BORNSTEIN has taken amazing care of my disabled daughter for years! We love him!

Absolutely the worst Doctor!! They treated my son with a treachostomy and multiple anomalies as if he was a customer and not a patient. The office has a lack of communication no one take responsibility for mistakes being made! Because I express how us as parents feel and how other parent who comes to there location feel, I received a letter stating my 4 month old is no longer allowed to visit the clinic. Thats fine... I will do my very best to expose the truth what You did!! I recommend and new parents looking around not to attend this clinic or see this Doctor. He cares more about his personal time and $$$$$.. No one in there office is properly trained and educated. If you donnot know what a CCAM is PLEASE refrain from examing other children. To piggy back on Danny on Dr.Borenstiens office lack of knowledge and compassion of families with critical ill children, my daughter also has a tracheostomy and multiple disorders. I was also "let go" because "management ie: ms.dixon" did not appreciate me telling her how I felt. In the letter I received she never mention the reason she was not allowing my daughter to be seen at this office but instead stated the "relationship was broken". It's very obvious this office is not representative of APH and has no compassion for children with special needs. My daughter has been seen at Aph, Nemours and FL hospital outpatient clinics and I have never experienced such unprofessional staff in the last 10 years. The specialty clinic has turned into a business with employees that think because the word "manager" is in their title they Have some sort of "power" and can retaliate by putting our children's health at risk. It's really sad, the care of our children should be the priority of these clinics not someone's ego. I would recommend the clinics at Nemours as they are much more professional and patient centered, they are also smaller giving your family more time when visiting with physicians. I also recommend taking the drive to Nicholas Children's hospital in Miami, as I also do for other specialist. Please don't go to APH because it is well know in the area, do your research and find the best physician that is patient centered and has professional staff that can cater to your child's needs. My son has been under Dr. Bornstein's care for almost 10 years when we moved to Florida in 2009. My son has had GI issues his entire life. Without Dr. Bornstein my son would not have survived his illnesses. The staff isn't always perfect, however I would recommend Dr. Bornstein to anyone with a child with complicated health issues.
