I arrived early and was seen early. I really like Dr Stokes.

Dr. Stokes office is amazing. He was very attentive to me after my surgery. He was very concerned about my recovery after complications.

He was very attentive and made sure I understood everything. Staff was also expeditious and personable ????

Gastric bypass June 23 2021 I’m one year from day of my very first appointment with dr stokes . He amazing and has changed my life . Healing was great did everything I was told and it been a huge success.

I’m just sorry I can only give Dr. Stokes 5 stars! He is kind and thoughtful as well as skilled and he takes the time to listen and answer questions. His answers and explanations are clear and concise. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Stokes was an amazing surgeon. Prior to surgery, he came in and explained everything that would happen from start to finish… In terms I could understand! He made me feel very calm and at ease prior to surgery (which was tough to do in the moment). Surgery was efficient and quick and went so smoothly. Dr Stokes is great. Quickly diagnosed a painful hernia, repaired it cleanly and followed up to ensure all was well. His manner is excellent, easy to talk to and joke with. His staff is very responsive and helpful.

I DO NOT recommend he's vindictive and doesn't have the patients best interest at heart. He's lied on numerous occasions, and I can only pray that the patient gets the level of care they deserve.

At 11:30 Thursday I developed a hernia while sitting in a lawn chair! Go figure. I arrived at WA at 12:30. WHA's emergency MD returned the materials to its proper place, but Dr. Stokes explained what happens next. By 4;00 I was treated, set up for a CT scan and fully informed about future options. His questions were relevant and he appreciated my 44 years of active recovery in AA. I am beyond impressed that WHA saw me, treated me, and had me on my painless way in less than 4 hours. Dr. Stokes performed emergency surgery on me for small bowell obstruction on 7/6/16. The work was perfect, and my recovery couldn't be going any better. He's very personable, and despite the seriousness of my condition demonstrated a sense of humor that very much put me at ease. I feel fortunate that he was assigned to my case, and should I ever need elective surgery I would go to no one else.
