After suffering with debilitating hives for over a year, Dr. Therattil went out of her way to make sure I not only understood my condition but explained in great detail what my options were. She took great amounts of time to guide me through the process and continues to give the best medical care. She not only cared about me as a medical patient but as a person. Her staff is beyond caring without ever losing their professionalism. I never felt as if I was anything less than totally cared for, and I would recommend her to anyone who was having issues with allergies or immune system concerns. I wish I could see her for ALL medical conditions.

I went to see this doctor to find out what I’m allergic to. Wasn’t any help at all. Have to take Allegra on a daily basis. Looking for another Doctor

I had been suffering from a chronic, uncontrollable cough for months (Sept to May) when I finally went in to see a pulmonologist. My tests there were in good order and they referred me to Dr. Therattil. I am so HAPPY they sent me to her. Dr. Therattil's professional approach to working through my symptoms to get to the root cause of my allergy issues has proven there are still Doctors out there who don't over prescribe medications, however, they prescribe the medications that work. She has been responsive and has worked with me since May to get me back on track. I no longer have uncontrollable coughs during the night, my post nasal drip is next to nothing, sinus headaches are minimal if I have them at all, and now we are working on taking me OFF medications! I truly love the staff who are professional and caring. The whole office works hard on caring for all patients. They stay in touch and follow-up timely.

Called today to confirm appointment and was told Dr. Therattil has been gone since this past summer. I did not receive anything from her office letting me know she was leaving. Disturbed by this.

Excellent allergy specialist

Dr. Therattil is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I've visited. She takes the time to understand all the issues related to the health situation and her treatment has been very effective. Her ability to explain the cause of the problem and how the medication works as well as the proper use of the medication was priceless. We have never felt rushed during our appointments with Dr. Jaya and would be proud to recommend her services to anyone.

My husband had been to several doctors before visiting Dr Jaya Her ability to diagnose his problem after spending a long time to understand his issues was right on! Her treatment is working for him and unlike other doctors, she takes the time to follow up on his care. She is what all doctors should model themselves after. Caring, compassionate, and understanding. We are so glad we found her!

We've been to several pulmonary doctors, but nobody took the time to explain how to use medication and the effects of the medication as Dr. Jaya did. She spoke in plain English and demonstrated when applicable, on how to use inhalers, nose sprays, etc. Never before has a doctor taken the time to do this. There was a significent difference in results of the medicine after following her directions. Thank you Dr. Jaya

Dr. Therattil has treated my daughter, mother and grandson for allergies/asthma and is very thorough in explaining the pathology of the disease along with treatment and medication options. She takes time to listen and explain everything in great detail. She is very caring and passionate about her patients. Dr. Therattil takes time to make sure office staff calls to check on the patient and see how things are going and how they are feeling.I would highly recommend Dr. Therattil to anyone that is suffering from allergies, asthma, skin rashes or any other allergy concerns.

Dr. Therattil is a very warm, empathetic physician who was able to work through the multiple symptoms that I had, to help me find a clear path ahead. She is amazing in her clinical abilities; but perhaps more importantly, she LISTENS and strives to understand. She was on time with the appointment and very efficient--but she is the first doctor I have had in a long time who makes you feel like you are the most important person in the office as she took the time to hear my story. Thanks to her I am on my way to recovery. I am very grateful I found Dr. Therattil!

Short fuse when responding to medical question. Went out of her way to prove me wrong. Very surprised by this action.

Dr. Jada is prompt and efficient!

Dr. Therattil is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable, and she takes the time to explain things to you so that you fully understand. You definitely get the feeling that she cares about the well being of her patients. Her office staff is also great; very friendly and they make you feel at ease. I highly recommend this physician.

Dr. Therattil is an excellent doctor. She is very informative and explains everything from diagnosis to medications in great detail. She makes it very easy to understand and always goes above and beyond to make sure all my questions and concerns have been answered. I have been seeing her for 5+ years and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an Asthma/Allergy doctor.

While nice as a person, she has no beside manner and didn't seem very understanding about certain issues. She gave the impression that she does not believe in mental illness (I have anxiety) and does not like medication.

My life has changed since going to Dr. Joseph and Dr. Therattil. I never knew I could breath as easy and feel as good. I thank God everyday for finding them and I would highly recommend them to everyone with pulmonary, asthma or allergies.
