This man is a quack!!!! I went to him 4 times and never saw him once to only be told he was closing his office and going into research. What a joke this person is. And I see where he is accepting new patients!!!! For what? Why? I was so betrayed by this person.

When I actually saw Dr Rubin, he was quite good. That’s where it ended though. J. Fletcher knows next to nothing about migraines and medication. Or Dystonia. Once I waited in an exam room for over an hour. About two weeks ago, I received a letter that they were dropping me as a patient (?) due to a missed appt.,(?) I never received a reminder phone call, typically the appt would have been made 6-9 months previous. Extremely poor office management. Then, I received a bill for a fee of $25 for the missed appt! The gall of them!! Run, don’t walk. There is absolutely no need to treat patients like this. I have numerous Dr’s and I have never, knowingly missed an appt. I’m glad to be done with them. Great staff very friendly Dr Rubin is a amazing dr. Please dont pay attention to these bias reviews. This Dr and his Staff are great people. I highly recommend him and this place....

I'll echo the complaint about the Ocala office. It is the most unprofessional medical office I have ever encountered. They aren't open when the website says they are open, the person answering the phone will put you through to a phone no one answers or responds to voicemail; they don't have email (though the website claims they do); Dr. Rubin never returns email sent to him; and they don't even respond to FAXes from my doctor or personal letters from me. In any other circumstance you'd assume it was a scam operation. I had a sleep study done in Ocala, and since then have moved to Washington State. My CPAP is failing badly, and I simply need a copy of my sleep study for my doctor to write a prescription for a new one. The lack of response from Dr. Rubin and his Ocala office endangers my health.

I was recommended to Dr. Rubin for a sleep study by my Ocala GP. Six years later, having moved to Washington State, my CPAP is failing badly, and my current GP simply needs a copy of that study to prescribe a new CPAP before this one dies. No one at NeuroHealth responds to FAXes from my doctor, email from me to Dr. Rubin, or phone calls to the office. The operator will put me through to a phone that no one answers or responds to my voicemail. They claim to not be able to send my study either to me or my doctor electronically, but only via mailm yet they don't respond to personal mail from me either. These are trying times, and this Doctor's office certainly is failing his hippocratic oath.

My experience with the Ocala office has been dismal. They can't find test results, don't call back, don't do anything unless you call them over and over. Office staff is not even close to friendly

Dr. RUBIN We Are So Thankful For All His Services ,Advice And All His Thoughtfulness,He Always Went The Extra Mile For My Husband 1St ! 10 Year's Ago And Now Our Son Presently.Our Son Has Been Sick A Long Time And Dr.Rubin Perform One Test After Another And He Was So Determined Himself To Find Out What Was Wrong With Him,He Took His Time And Showed So Much Concern For Our Son We Will Always Be Forever Greatfull?? My husband was seen at the offices in the ocala location we were essentially referred elsewhere when we mentioned our insurance would not cover anything they turned around and offered acupuncture. For being "the best" in town he sure is rude and unprofessional and i was shocked to find we were blown off. His PA is even more of a piece of work

Very pleased with Dr.Rubin and his staff! I scheduled my husband for his first appointment very far out and contemplated going elsewhere to get him in sooner but I am so happy I chose to wait. The girl who scheduled me called me and got him in sooner when she had a cancellation like she promised! I was on the telephone for over an hour trying to reach someone in the office of Dr J Rubin. I tried over 10 times. I was placed on hold for long periods with no response. The message line must have been full as it would not accept a message.

Only met him once and he was nothing special. I then got turned over to a PA who gave up in a couple of months and referred me elsewhere. Meh. Don't waste your time.

Dr. Rubin and his staff is wonderful. They have helped me with so much. I am still dealing with my migraine's; but they are still helping me. I recommend this Dr. for anyone who is in need of their sleep apnea and or migraine medical issues.

You can never get ahold of anyone. Pick up your phone! Office staff is rude.

I'm new in town but I need a neurologist so I go to my Google map and put neurologist the map send me to dr.Rubin's office start driving and the address was in the woods so I got lost luckily still have signal on the phone so I look on the internet got the right address got to the office ask if the Dr. Is in my medical plan network they replay yes but I have to wait to the referral lady call me to make an appointment she call and told me that I need a referral from my primary Dr. I told her that I don't need a referral so she told me without a referral the Dr. can't see me. Really Dr. Stupid news flash you are not the only neurologist in Ocala. Luckily this go by full star if not I will give you a 1/4 of a star. Just finished my appointment with Dr Rubin and his staff. Congenial, professional and personable. Would highly recommend them.

Not impressed. As a new patient, the nurse spends a lot of time asking superfluous questions and the doctor spends too much time asking personal questions, like what do you do for a living, etc. My assessment: if they claim a higher amount of time for the office visit, then they get more money from Medicare. A lot more $. Place was weird, insulation falling out of the ceiling in one of the rooms, a piece of antiquated testing equipment that did not work correctly. Like Get Out.

I am extremely pleased with this office and the staff! I would highly recommend Dr. Rubin after my experience here. Sorry to see the negative comments... they seem to be a busy office but have always provided me with professional and efficient care.

Dr. Rubin and his staff were really there for us when our son was diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. It was a very difficult time and they were always quick to respond to questions and schedule testing. Dr. Rubin even called us directly and communicated with ER staff in Tampa on a particularly bad day. Dr. Rubin and his staff came highly recommended from my son's cardiologist. They have been so great in dealing with new onset juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. Every time I call their office with a question, they respond immediately and the staff is very proactive when scheduling tests. Dr. Rubin has even taken the time to call me directly on several occasions when my son had a particularly tough day. I can't say enough - so grateful! :-)

So happy with our experience with Dr. Rubin and his staff!

Dr Rubin himself....good. Saw him once then shipped off to PA,j kline. Seen him twice. Very upset. Have sleep apnea,but falling asleep at inopportune times. First time,kline said getting too much pressure with cpap. Reduced pressure....no change. Saw him yesterday....his resonse was lose thirty more pounds and come back in six months.What!!!!!!! I cant go on like this for six months,I need answers now!. Will not be returning in six months. DO NOT RECCOMEND HIM!
