My appointment was at 12:30 and now it’s 1:30 I’ve been waiting in a room with my son for quit some time.I had to go to the Medical assistant and ask her how long was it going to be especially since we were the only ones here.She told me we had to page him he should be here in a few minutes.My sons first visit it was the same excuse as well.Do yourself a favor and don’t bother coming here.Ill be looking for a new pediatric cardiologist. Dr. Jay Chander is my son's doctor for the last fourteen years. With all confidence I can confirm that he is the best. He is very knowledgeable and will do everything to get your problem fixed. An excellent clinician and historian. He prompted my son to give a very detailed and specific history and timing of events. Maybe we were there on a good day, but he was very old school in his history and exam. He reminded me of my own father, who was a doctor before the time of HMOs where time and money is everything. He communicated well with us as parents, and showed us specifically on the ECG and echo the areas where we had questions. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chandar has been my daughter's cardiologist for 20 1/2 years and would not trust anyone else with her heart issues. After many years of ups and downs she has been stable thanks to his care. And believe me I have not been an easy or relax mom. He and his staff are family to us and whenever my daughter goes for her follow up every six months is like she is going home. My son is a patient and we love Dr. Chandar! He only sees my son once a year but remembers conversations and personal details each time. My son actually looks forward to visiting this doctor! Everything is explained so we can clearly understand and I am impressed and grateful that my son is still able to be seen here since he is no longer considered a child (he has special needs).

I took my son in November since he was born with a heart murmur and i did not understand one thing he was telling me and i didnt feel he was that confident in what he was doing. He was rude and wanted to finish the visit fast ans he couldnt answer any of my question without hesitation and as i was leaving i needed the MA to repeat everything that he did because i was CLUELESS ! Nothing, worse cardiology office, the dr didn't know what he was taking about, his lack of confident is very evident, he couldn't answer any of my questions per my child.. worse experience. The medical assistant was more confident than the doctor.
