Amazing care from the staff to my surgery to the care at the hospital

I was referred to him from another physician . There was some confusion regarding the referral. However, he is rude and condescending. He repeatedly kept checking his watch as I was trying to explain the pain. Then he had the gall to tell me that he was t going to look at the MRIs that I bought with me from other specialists. Very fast to take me back and thorough. They were all friendly. They were very positive about my prognosis and future.

In 2020 I had spine surgery at another hospital and a few days later dealt with a severe and unsuspected complication. I met Dr. Amadeo upon my admittance to Riverside Hospital. He moved quickly, did all the right tests and fixed it. He saved my life. His expertise, caring manner and attention to my recovery was phenomenal. He explained every detail of what the coming months and even years would be in my recovery. I am very thankful and free of that horrible pain. Thank you Dr. Amadeo. Patti C

I had my spinal fusion surgery in August of 2011. Everything went perfectly and I have been pain free for the past nine years. My experience with Dr. Amadeo was wonderful.

Awesome doctor! Saved me from horrible pain in my back!

Dr. Amadeo was extremely warm and comforting he explained and took time to go into what other doctors may have felt were insiginifcant percentages. He spoke to both myself and my fiancé and stepped out as we made the descision to have a very intimidating surgery. He was very involved in my pre-op and post-op checking on me to answer any questions and seemed not to mind when my fiancé took over as I was in no condition.

He'd MRI done at hospital saw dr Amadeus made appoint with another to have a Cortizone shot. Then was in therapy for a month. Had follow up visit and decided to have surgery got it scheduled then got changed to the next day. Well it got canceled because of insurance. Then he had to talk to insurance himself to get them to pay for it. Then got it set for 2 months later. They should've scheduled it after it got canceled the second time to have it earlier than the 2 months. Dr Amadeus is a good dr. But the staff is just slow at taking their time on doing things. I called first thing on a Friday morning and it is now Monday at noon and still not ready. If you are on short term disability this not a place to go because they use a third party for medical records. With the insurance company requesting them the medical records will take 7 to 14 days before they are mailed to the insurance company. I have gone a month without a check do to this. I'm 26 years old. Surgery went well and I was given a 3 month recovery time. It's been 9 months since I had surgery and I'm not able to sit for more than half an hour due to immense pain. Went back for advise 6 months after surgery and was told to "Man up and stop being ridiculous," and "don't come back unless you're physically unable to walk." Amadeo was extremely friendly and knowledgeable before surgery (I had surgery the day after he read my MRI) but was extremely unhelpful afterwards.

four years ago DR.AMADEO performed back surgery on me put in rods and spacers he was kind he performed back surgery on me when i was 80 years young which makes me almost 84 years young he did an outstanding job as i have never had any more back problems to date 9-23-16. i found him to be a very gentle man i believe Jesus Christ guided his hands and knowledge within performing my back surgery.UP TO DATE 9-23-16 i have had no back problems. he is an compassionate Doctor.
