Dr. Kurek listens well, but lacks empathy and human-ness in his presentation. If I'm paying for your time, I'd like to feel like you give a darn.

Get ready to spend a lot of money. I saw Dr. Kurek for tendonitis in my ankle. He wrapped it for me with some sports bandages (which I could have done myself) and told me he recommended that I get my ankle x-rayed. I told him sure if my insurance covered it, but if not then I didn't think it was necessary. I was told it was covered by the insurance so I proceeded to get the x-ray. Lo and behold I get a bill in the mail a month later charging me $82 for the x-ray and $42 for him wrapping my foot with sports tape (which I removed 1 hr later because it was totally uncomfortable). This was aside from my insurance payments and the office visit copay. In total, I paid $160 for him to just tell me my foot will heal on its own. Total rip off, I could have wrapped my own foot for $10 and I did not even need the x-ray so I don't even know why it was recommended (actually I do, it was for him to make some $$$). I have seen dr kerek twice and i felt he he wasnt very helpful at all. I felt he was rude and really didn't want to really help me with my feet issues. I ended up going to another foot doctor because i felt that he didnt want to work with me.

Dr. Jason Kurek, is a great Doctor. I have pain in my ankle, he always helps me with health issues.

He is my Grandmother's Podiatrist. He is very good , thorough, he has a soft touch and Great demeanor. I am about to become one of his patients myself. Two Thumbs up !!!!! 5 star service

Far better doctors to visit. His academic credentials are unimpressive, he js not a MD.
