Jason Seth Cohen

Dr. Jason Cohen and his staff are terrific. Surgeons are the fighter pilots of the medical profession and need to come across approachable, highly confident and calm. That’s Dr. C. He also has an air of lightness mixed with intensity -that puts you at ease. He is the consummate professional. (A side note -he is also an accomplished painter)…He takes the time, in a very non-rushed way, to carefully go over the procedure, the risks/likely outcomes and the time-line. He manages expectations well. He is intensely observant. As for the procedure -given you are pleasantly absent thanks to modern anesthetics, I can’t comment on his OR demeanor- but the outcome? It has been slightly less than two weeks and the incision point is barely noticeable (I joked that I was hoping for a more story worthy Frankenstein scar) and my recovery rapid and thankfully unremarkable. His staff understand the gig and they are “Johnny on the spot” professionals rounding out the smooth operation (no pun intended)… Yan, his surgical prep-person, with whom you’ll interface the most, is charming and makes everything very clear. Again refreshing professionalism. Rest assured-you are in good hands.

I saw Dr Cohen for a consult about my thyroid issues. I was referred by my doctor, dr Tseng. He answered all my questions and explained everything perfectly. He has a great bed side manner and everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I have a surgery scheduled with him next month and the office has helped me with all the necessary insurance papers and pre operation appointments. Dr. Cohen thoroughly answered all of my medical questions, and he put my mind at ease. He explained the pros and cons of having surgery which I greatly appreciated! Dr . Cohen had a wonderful disposition, too!

My first visit with Dr. Jason Cohen went absolutely amazing. The reception desk greeted me with absolute grace even though I was fifteen minutes late ugh! Maybelline, staff nurse taking my vitals, made me feel so special. She is an awesome asset to Dr. Jason Cogen’s practice. I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery, Dr, Cohen was amazing! He made me feel relaxed, and positive about the experience. He took great care of me! I would not want any other dr.

Dr Cohen was absolutely wonderful throughout my entire experience and after. So patient, caring, informative, and available. I am so, so grateful for all of his help, expertise, and care. From staying in touch with my husband and me to connecting with other doctors and nurses at the hospital, he was there every step of the way - including seeing me for an appointment on his day off and delaying his personal plans for my surgery. Dr Cohen is a very patient and pleasant physician and spends time with the patient. I must also say that he has an excellent and caring team as his staff.

I saw Doctor Jason Cohen at the surgery center. It was a very positive experience. Everyone at the surgery center was very friendly. Dr Cohen gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. He listened to my concerns and gave me options. I had surgery for an inguinal Hernia. I went home the same day. Very little to no post operative pain, which was a surprise. Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable and personable. He listened to and went over ALL my health concerns. He even answered my family’s questions. He is VERY thorough and genuinely cares about you. The whole staff was excellent and very kind. The office was clean and very organized. I highly recommend him.

I felt I was in good hands. He was gentle he made the experience easy and helped in the follow up.

Cohen is an incredibly unprofessional doctor. His interest is his financial gain and not at all the wellbeing of those in need of medical attention. My mother was aware of the fact that he did not accept medi-cal, however went to him for a second opinion. He glanced at her paperwork before giving an inaccurate "medical opinion" after which he proceed to openly state that he did not accept medi-cal because he had rent to pay and his kids school to pay for.
