Dr. Janice Kelly Tomberlin

Dr. Tomberlin seemed threatened when I asked questions about therapies that were listed on her web site. Her exact words were "This is not a spa and you don't get to request services. I tell you what you need". She doesn't seem open to the idea of a cancer patient being involved in their own medical care decisions.

I was extremely happy with the doctor and treatment plan. She explained everything to me and made it so easy. Everyone that cared for me in the office was amazing and kind. I’m 3 years cancer free and am actually online at this moment looking at Dr. Tomberlins website to recommend her to a friend. Bottom line-I was well cared for by very nice people.

Lacks compassion. Dismissive to questions or complaints of pain.

Dr. Tomberlin did radiation into a Mammosite that Dr. Clifford had placed in my right breast. The radiation ordered/ directed by her was 1/24-28/2005. She and her assistants were wonderful! I have been fine with no further problems!

She has terrible bedside manner. Very rude and dismissive when asking a question.

I love Dr. Tomberlin. She is very thorough and takes the time to explain things in detail. She always took her time with me and I never felt rushed by her. She is very easy to talk to and also a good listener. She made me feel very comfortable with what I was going through. I would recommend her in a heart beat. I also adore her nurse Dana. Dana was always prompt calling me back. She is always friendly and takes time to talk to the patients.
