Terrible doctor. She would just give medications to anyone besides listening to them and actually trying to help. She also refused to let me get my medical records I needed for school to get accommodations. That’s a huge Hipaa violation. Tried to get my records of just my diagnosis (tried for over a month to get them) they kept refusing till I got a lawyer involved and said I would report them for the hipaa violation. Terrible, she would not give me my medical records or send them to another facility. The wait would be HOURS, and the appointment would just be 2 minutes. The office was rude and would insult me when asking for medical records. I asked to speak to the doctor and they got the therapist to explain to me why I couldn’t get my medical records I needed for school.
I saw Dr. Linton for about a year. She is no longer practicing in office clinical psychiatry which she states is because overhead to meet insurance requirements is too expensive. She was a great doctor and I hope she will reenter psychiatric office practice one day. I would be first in line for her if so. She was honest, compassionate and thorough.
