I drove to Birmingham, AL from Gadsden, AL to be seen by Dr. Cash and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The procedure I had done today by Dr. Cash was painless! Dr. Cash & her staff were awesome & friendly! Here is my 10 stars. ???? ????????????????????????????????????

The doctor was really quick and short. Took a chunk out of my thigh for a biopsy and didn’t do any stitches. Left a horrible scar

Very disappointing. It was my first visit and purposely made it for one of the earliest times (8:30am). Waited 45 minutes before being called back. I have face and chest acne, but main concern was 2 places that were not healing. She froze the two places, gave me antibiotics and out the door I went. Never asked about my skin care regimen, gave any advice about skin care, etc. Will not go back.

Do not visit this location they are extremely unprofessional the nurse here did not perform the biopsy correctly on my head& it left an permanent scar they did not have my consent to perform a biopsy & then lied about me signing it I'm going to be suing this company very soon

Horribly bad at honoring appointment times. It doesn’t matter what time of day. To me it’s unprofessional and unacceptable. Third time is a charm, I’m taking my business somewhere else. I’ve been a patient 10+ years

I had a horrible experience here. I went in with what I knew was a basal cell as my mother had several. I got the feeling that the Dr thought I was wasting her time. Maybe because I wasn’t there to purchase elective services? Seriously, I bet she didn’t say five words to me. Just quickly (a little too quickly) sliced off a bit of flesh for a biopsy. I was right. It was skin cancer. I was sent to a surgeon for the actual treatment. Someone called from Cash’s office later to tell me that I should have a cancer screening, but didn’t offer to help me with an appointment. Bizarre. I had a horrible experience here. I’ve had trouble with my lower legs being extremely reddened and breaking out in multiple blisters for years. One visit to Dr. Cash took care of my problems that I had almost given up on. With a new antibiotic cream and a pill that opened up the arteries in my lower legs to allow the blood to flow through much more easily and the blisters have gone down tremendously (only due to my own neglect have I had any new ones) and the redness has almost totally disappeared. Always very professional. Dr. Cash makes you feel very comfortable with everything she does. She explains any procedure to you prior to starting. She is genuinely caring and has her patients concerns at the forefront.

Dr. Cash talked brushed off my concerns, talked down to me, and misdiagnosed my health issue. I had to go to another dermatologist to get an accurate diagnosis.

My procedure was painless and the doctor/staff were excellent. I had a wonderful experience and will be coming back in the future.

Dr. Cash and her staff always make me feel comfortable.

She was very nice. But unable to help my condition as she did not know the current research. I had to go to another Dermatologist, who DID know the research. His treatments are appropriate, and I am rapidly improving.

Very Disappointed! My appointment was for 2:30 and I arrived 20 minutes early to complete new patient paperwork. I was not called back until 3:30. Ok, so maybe she spends extra time with each patient. Nope, barely said hello and good bye! I understand biopsies are commonplace to her but not to me. I had to ask when to expect the results. “Sometime next week” was her response. So a week later I call and leave a voicemail asking for the results. No response. A couple days later I leave another voicemail. They returned my call to say they had mailed me the result. I’m sorry but pony-express is not how I expect a specialist to notify me of biopsy results! Please find yourself another dermatologist, I am!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I will never go to this doctor again. She tried to prescribe me medication without even seeing the rash that I had. She looked at me like I was crazy when I told her I was breastfeeding and wouldn't be done for a year. Do most people who breastfeed not do it for a year? She told me to use the cream she prescribed and come back in a year when I was done breastfeeding. Luckily I found an amazing doctor at Inverness Dermatology who took action and is helping me to resolve my issue, despite the fact that I am BF'ing. I wish I could give 0 stars. I have been coming to Dr. Cash for over 20 years. She and her staff are excellent! Dr. Cash always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and is very professional and caring.

Started seeing her for skin checks(family history melanoma)I was going every 6m. She diagnosed a spot on my head as psoriasis & started treatments. Watched it spread across my scalp. She did injections, creams, gels, & finally laser. A nurse points out a discoloration in the middle. She removed the small area & sent it off. I was then told it was never psoriasis but basal cell cancer. I had skin cancer removal & scalp reconstruction done by MOHS surgeon. She should h done biopsy years earlier.

My wife was seeing her for full body checks every 6m. She would wait sometimes up to 45mins and when dr cash would get in the room, she was there for short time. She would never look over her scalp fully when its full body check..making the comment on more than 1 occ to have her hair dresser check scalp when getting hair done. She was treating 1 area on her scalp for psoriasis which we found out after years that it was basal cell carcinoma. DO NOT RECOMMEND her to anyone. She was unapologetic.

This office is slow slow slow. My appt was over 90 mins ago and I haven't even been called back yet. Like I have nothing else to do

Service could be faster

I have seen her several times and have always had to wait an hour or more in the waiting room. Her exam is not comprehensive and she treats most of the issues I have had with cortisone. When removing a cancerous spot she does not think of the appearance that the scar will leave. I felt she was condescending as well as a bit pretentious, not explaining the issues. Wonderful dermatologist! Caring and smart. She diagnosed my condition almost immediately after getting the run around by another dermatologist. She also does cosmetic procedures and I got exactly what I wanted. The cosmetic assistant is fantastic and very helpful to help you choose what is best for your desired outcome. Dr. CASH , HERSELF, GIVES EXCELLENT CARE AND IS VERY SYMPATHETIC TO MY SITUATIPN. HOWEVER, I VISITED THE OFFICE TODAY FOR A LIG HT TREATMENT THAT WOULD HAVE TAKEN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES. I WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF. MY DIGNITY AS A CUSTOMER AND HUMAN BEING WAS INSULTED THAT THE STAFF would ignore me and not even explain why my wait was so long. Finally I got up, checked out and left. Considering a new doctor. That was a very bad experience.

My experience has been overall great. Dr. Cash along with the nurses have been very helpful in my treatment. The staff and nurses are genuinely nice and concerned, making my doctor visits run smooth and efficiently. The nurses and Dr. Cash asks questions and really get to know the patients to ensure that patients are comfortable.

Dr Cash is always very thorough and listens to the concerns of her patients.

This was the worst doctor experience we have ever had. I took my 2 year old to get checked for atopic dermatitis. We waited 2 hours to see Dr. Cash, who did not even touch my child or even really look at the places on her skin. She offered no solutions or knowledge of any kind, but simply threw steroid creams and oils at us and sent us on our way. There are plenty of other options for dermatologists in Birmingham and central Alabama. Please don't waste your time with this one.

Dr. Cash is really sweet, she is thorough in getting to the root of the problem. But her staff is VERY slow and unprofessional. I waited for over an hour for an appointment and ended up not seeing Dr. Cash as a patient. I would definitely, not recommend new patients to visit her facility.

Bad experience here. Was extremely rushed to try to get me out of there but it was my first appointment with her so I kept on trying to show her things and ask questions. She did a painful procedure without giving me a heads up and explaining to me what she was about to do. I went for 2 follow ups and never saw her.

Really slow service. I had to wait 75 min past my appointment time just to see Dr. Cash.

Horrible! I will never bring my grandfather again! The girl that checked us in with the curly hair was beyond rude and looked at us like we were stupid and she smelled like marijuana! I would rather drive the extra hour for better service!

Today we had a 10 a.m. appointment scheduled with Dr. Cash. We showed up early as requested for new patients, and we left at 11 a.m. without seeing Dr. Cash, so this review is not a review of Dr. Cash's services. Also, it is not intended as a negative review because of excessive wait times -- I know doctors are doing important work, and sometimes other patients' needs simply require extra time. I am writing because I had searched for "pediatric dermatologists," and that's how I found Dr. Cash -- and her website does indicate that she has an interest in pediatric dermatology. I was there with my 8-year-old to have a mole checked. I am reviewing simply to inform other parents that there was absolutely no indication in the waiting room that this doctor has a pediatric practice. There were no other children there. There were no children's magazines or toys there. The TV played a repetitive medical marketing program. In short, while Dr. Cash may genuinely be interested in pediatric patients, her office and waiting area do not indicate that these patients make up a significant part of her practice, and if you are looking for a dermatologist for your child, you may want to look at a practice that is specifically pediatric in nature OR one that has several doctors and support staff that sees patients quickly and minimizes wait time. They were good!Michelle and Dr Cash were very friendly!

Dr. Cash and her staff are always nice and very accommodating to me. I called yesterday about a problem that I was having and I was able to be seen the next day.

Very professional and caring. She made you feel at ease was throughout the exam. Extremely nice person. I will definitely return if needed. She is the type of physcian I would recommend to my best friend.

My visit with Dr. Cash was great. She was very thorough and informative. Her assistants, Ashley and Crystal are fantastic and courteous young ladies.

My family was highly disappointed in the care received by Dr. Cash. I was surprised that her special interests included pediatrics as she did not address my son at all. She never even touched my son. Did not perform a thorough assessment and did not even remove my son's shirt even though part of his rash expanded to his back. Was very quick to write a topical steroid cream and suggested no alternative. Never returning. Have since seen a different derm and have been given answers and options.

She is the best of the best she a up front with u on health issue and has a great personality's/he will work with u on health and money to makepaymts.

While Dr. Cash is a very nice person, I was not impressed with the experience I had. I purposely scheduled an appointment at 8am, the earliest available. By the time Dr. Cash came to my room it was 8:55. She spent less than ten minutes with me, spending almost no time looking at the issues I needed. Spent almost no time with me, and have not seen any remedy to the issue I came for.

Set my mind at ease .

My appointment on January 6, 2017 was cancelled by the office manager due to possible inclement weather. There was no prior communication from the office staff about their decision to close the office. I was outside their door at 7:30 am as requested for my 8:00 appointment. The door was locked with no signage about closing but a voice message was already available which said they would be closed due to the weather.... Unprofessional and Unexcusable Experience!

Long wait times. Short doctor- patient time. They also are horrible about returning calls. They leave voicemails that are uninforming or ones that are 1 second long and just the receptionist hanging up. They are slow to filing insurance so my prescriptions had expired This made me have to come back again to re-do all the tests (paid for by myself of course because they would take no blame). You also have to pay to park at the doctors office. ?I do not recommend.
