Last name is Powell. Sally Powell. Dr. Lesaint was so caring and thoughtful of my situation I have pancreatitis, she suggested some enzymes that I needed. I’m sure she is part of savings me. Thank you so much.

17 years ago Dr. Atkins saved my life. Multiple doctors could not understand what my infection was. My extended family flew out to see me, and my friends were visiting in the hospital to say goodbye. My pediatrician sent a referral to her office on a Friday, I called and got a recording stating they had already closed. But the recording also said the hours, I looked at the time and there was still 20 minutes until they supposedly closed. I was a little upset because I really wanted/needed to make an appointment, but that’s ok, I blew it off and I waited until Monday morning. So on Monday When I called a receptionist answered, she told me that I needed to call another number to make an appointment. I then called that number, a woman answered, and I Asked to make an appointment with Dr Atkins....... well I guess I wasn’t supposed to do that because the woman on the other line was Dr Atkins herself, she then began yelling at me, and asking me HOW and WHY do I have her “personal” phone number. I was honestly in disbelief that this was happening, I then told her that her receptionist had given me that number and was doing what I was told to make an appointment. She then started rambling on about how the reseptionists were all new and shouldn’t of done that, and there is no way she could make an appointment for my daughter because 1. I had to have a referral ????. (I didn’t pick her name out of a bag) 2. She wasn’t going to be in the office until tmrw and she can’t get to me until then.... meanwhile she is still yelling at me...... I might not be a doctor, but I do work, and see clients everyday, and I know that’s not the way u handle things professionally. Especially for the amount she is charging to see patients, So needless to say I was disgusted with her tone, the info she was giving me about her personal issues with her and within her Office and basically denying me making an appointment until she got there (which would of been next day), mind u I called at 9:30 am. So after getting off the phone with her I called my pediatrician and told them to please send out another referral and I’m not going to be a monkey in that circus dr. Atkins is “trying” to manage. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, I normally just wouldnt go to see her, but this was off the charts rude, obnoxious, and very unprofessional. A very good doctor she did so good taking care of a little girl that I care so much for. She saved her life 2 time , she never let her down and she always stood by her side!!! very good lady, she has a very good heart!!!!! One of the best out there! Thank you dr atkins

There is no doubt that Dr. Atkins saved our 10 year old daughter’s life. It was a unique and very complicated issue and her expert treatment saved her from a life threatening infection. My daughter spent over 3 weeks in the hospital, followed by a major surgery and Dr Atkins followed her closely and we saw her regularly (even on weekends). Because her specialty is rare, she is one of the hardest working doctors, constantly helping very sick children in several locations. My daughter adores her and I am grateful every single day that during that terrible time, she was in our corner. She is caring, and brilliant...the best traits you can have in a doctor. Dr.Atkins is a great lady. Highly intelligent, quick, and resourceful. Diagnosed me correctly and helped save my lung. 10/10 would go to her again.

She was extremely thorough and on point. Thought she did an amazing job with my daughter when she was in the hospital. One of the top 2 doctors I’ve ever seen.

Very poor bedside manner. When seeing my child in the hospital she did not introduce herself and barked questions at me. When she was done, I had to asks her who she was. If I had known she was an ID specialist, I would have answered differently. On follow-up she started to come in the room then asked who the nurse was. She proceeded to yell the nurses name down the hallway and left before I could ask questions. She never came back for the rest of the stay, and my questions were never answered.

Dr. Adkins was great in the treatment of my daughtes bacteria infection. Very thorough.
