Appointment was scheduled pretty far out, I imagine because he is a popular provider of a specialty that there is not a lot of in this area. I thought he provided exemplary care.

Just miscommunication on appointments, gotSeen very last min when it was suppose to be a morning appointment. Took time off work and had to wait till late afternoon. Dr. Was amazing and took the time to explain any and all steps. I feel more confident in what the next step should be if needed. Answered questions about my child that weren't in away related to this situation but would over all help his health

Dr. Abou-Harb really took his time, explained things clearly and has a wonderful bed side manner. He was worth the wait for my daughter's appointment.

I would recommend Dr. Abou-Hard 100%. In this world, you meet doctors that are in it strictly in it for money and not the right reasons, such as wanting to help people! Dr. Abou-Harb is a diamond in the rough. He is professional, kind, humorous, caring and treats every single one of his patients with respect and has amazing bedside manner. With doctors, for me, bedside manner and equal treatment no matter what the patient's social standing is everything. This doctor is very knowledgeable and explains things to you, listens attentively, and actually makes time to make you feel heard; like you are in capable and trustworthy hands. He is NOT the kind of doctor that rushes you through to get to the next patient! He speaks to you like a human being and not like you are beneath him. He works actively to help you find the root of the problem. He deserves 5 stars across the board. Period. If he recommends that you follow a certain regime; do it. Don't be offended by something he tells you that you should stop doing, realize he is recommending because he KNOWS HIS STUFF. Thank you so much for your expert care, Dr. Abou-Harb! You are an amazing human being and doctor!

Horrible doctor. Threatens to call CPS to control parents who do not agree to unnecessary medical procedures. Does not listen to concerns or additional information. Absolutely horrible.

By far the worst appointment I have ever experienced. Was given an incorrect time, 7:30 am, office wasn't even open. My appointment was apparently at 8 am, they said "That just happens sometimes". I had a previous terrible experience there with a different doctor, so I switched to a new one. Big mistake. This doctor did not know what he was doing. His name was Dr. Abu-Harb. I explained to him I was referred by my gynaecologist for possible endometriosis, so I told him my bowel issues. He first says, "I'm not a gynaecologist, so why are you seeing me?" He wasn't concerned about that, only about the other symptoms associated with endometriosis. He didn't ask the frequency of anything, how much pain I was experiencing or anything. He then for some reason linked my not frequent migraines to my stomach issues, which made no sense. Then suggested I switch out my antidepressants for something for migraines, which is just ignorant. I barely have migraines, I only get them on my period, didn't

He listens to all of our concerns and makes sure all of our questions are answered. He has helped us through our son’s new diagnosis of Crohns and managing it. We are very grateful.

He was rude to my grandson and to me. He acted as if we were inconveniencing him to even be there. He called my grandson obese 8 times in demeaning ways and accusing him of not making effort to lose weight. My grandson is 16. We are aware he is overweight. The ER referred him because he has been looking weight too fast (60 pounds in 2 months) and for liver disease, extreme abdomen pain, blood in his stool. My grandson has need extremely depressed and in pain for months. Now he is suicidal also.

Worst Dr. experience ever. He convinced me to stop breastfeeding my son, even though my breast milk was not the cause of his reflux. He said the following to me at both appointments: "I have 2 sons and neither of them were on antacids." Treating me as though it is my fault my son had reflux. "You are a full-time working mother, so you are looking for a quick fix." "I can't tell you what is wrong with your baby, he can't talk." "My job is to entertain you until he grows out of this."

Dr. Abou-Harb has been taking care of my son with Crohn's for two years. I am SO THANKFUL that he is the Dr. we were referred to. Excellent care! He is listens, is good at explaining things, is very knowledgeable and caring. His nurse Suzie is excellent too. I highly recommend Dr. Abou-Harb.

This guy is a total quack. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THIS DOCTOR. He diagnosis's every patient with 'Abdominal Migraines' and puts them on Amitriptyline. He did this for my son several years ago and everyone I talk to has the same diagnosis from this doctor. It's a false diagnosis. He does this over and over again. It's like he has a 'racket' going on. Totally weird! Avoid this doctor at all costs. He sent us way down the wrong road. We've since got our son a REAL diagnosis(s) from Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Abou-Harb has been my daughter's (Crohn's) GI for three years. He is incredibly intelligent, keeps educationally current, and is sincerely caring. While she was in-hospital he even stopped by on weekends (when he was not required to for rounds) to see how she was doing. By all accounts, he is very well respected by the staff at Sacred Heart. He listens carefully and allows us to help make choices in her on-going care. We will miss him when it is time for her to move on to an 'adult' GI.

He was great! Very friendly and made my daughter comfortable. Extremely knowledgable and explained everything to my daughter and to us so that we understood it. He is committed to his patients and stayed late to see us for an entire hour. He also made it clear to call anytime and for my daughter to talk to him confidentially if she had any concerns (she's 15). I don't know why he only has a 3 star rating. I think he's great!
