What was suppose to be a relatively simple procedure of a mitral-valve clip w/ an overnight stay landed my mother in the ICU for a week followed by a week of rehab at another hospital. My mom passed away 10 months after this major screw-up. For this procedure go to Columbia or U Penn !

Dr. Wu and team replaced my aortic valve with a St. Judes mechanical valve. I never doubted the outcome. The Dr. took time to answer all of our questions and made us feel at ease.

The best. I owe this fine surgeon & his team. my life. I was given a bovine heart valve in 2012, & have had no issues since. I went to him on the recommendation of another doctor in the Lehigh Valley, & spoke beforehand with someone else who had Dr. Wu do the same surgery on them. Besides being very gifted, he is just a very fine doctor to deal with. Thank you, Dr. Wu. My cardiologist speaks very highly of you.& I lived long enough to meet my 2 grandchildren. Joan Decker.

Dr. Wu appears to be one of those rare surgeons-cardiac surgeons, no less-who views his work as routine-nothing special, all in a day's work. Right. I don't exactly see him in that manner, probably because he saved my life. His prompt diagnosis and brilliant surgical skills hardly define work that's "just routine". Very fortunate to have connected with this humble man.

I was in Grandview then to Leighigh and back to Grandview for a total of 78 days. Went in to septic shock while having a Pacemaker installed at Grandview. I was shipped to Leighigh where Dr. Wu preformed a triple bypass and installed some new heart valves. Three times during all the complications, my entire family was called in to say good by. When I regained consciousness, some weeks later, is when I learned that I had that operation and a Dr. Wu had performed it. An amazing man.
