Dr. James Robert Weir

My husband had two knees and a hip done by Weir Ortho and we are very grateful for how well things went. He is walking and traveling with no pain. A big thanks to Dr. James and Jarrod Weir!

Everyone from Office Staff to Dr Weir himself are wonderful Had a hip replacement a year ago. You would never know..Went well Dr was so prepared. I have never had such a great Dr in my life..Need anything like this done. This is where you go.

I had my knee partially replaced by dr weir. It was robotically done. A great experience and my knee is great. Wonderful drs!!!

My father is having an EXTREMELY serious allergic reaction to an old knee replacement and needs to have a new knee. Unfortunately Dr. Weir is the only surgeon who can give him the type of knee he needs to circumvent the allergy. He is REFUSING to do the surgury despite the mountain of evidence that it needs to be done. If my dad dies because of this man's negligence, I will be getting a lawyer. DO NOT go to this man, he will not help you.

Very smart and caring surgeon ...he replace a knee, right hip and is doing left hip next week

Had to fire Dr. Weir as my knee surgeon. They just called me and I told them I chose to go to another surgeon because of how the staff treated me when I wanted an appt due to a recent injury. She hung up on me. Guess I made the right call on that one. FYI-when I called about my recent injury the receptionist told me I would have to talk to a nurse to see if I needed an appt. The nurse told me I didn't need an appt. When I explained I couldn't walk without a walker and knee brace she asked me a few questions and told me to go to my family doctor. I don't do business with doctors that you can't get an appointment with when you have an issue. WHEN I did see the doctor at my initial appt he and his son we're nice. And they came highly recommended. Due to his staff I was made to feel like it's just about pushing you through the system to get your money for the surgery. What if I had a complication and the nurse diagnosing me over the phone felt I didn't need to get in? To big of a risk to take for me. Had to fire Dr. Weir as my knee surgeon. Dr. Weir is such a talented Surgeron. I came to him with a messed up knee replacement. I felt like i was just dragging it around with me and pain... my god it hurt so much. He scheduled my revision and scheduled the other knee to be done 3 month later. A year and a half later. I am so happy he worked his magic. This man saved my life and gave me back my mobility. My wife recently had a partial knee replacement by Dr. Weir, and it has turned out wonderful. She also had a total knee replacement by another doctor in Saginaw which was not so good. After the partial from Dr. Weir, she was able to walk without support by day 3, was able to drive a car with stick shift within 3 weeks, and can clime up and down steps alternating feet within 4 weeks. She has been in therapy and the folks there are totally amazed compared to her first experience 2 years earlier
