I had an appointment today with this doctor. When I went to see him, the front desk lady name Renee told me that first time visit will cost $65.00 with my insurance. Furthermore, if he takes X-rays, it will cost additional money around $100.00 something. Then she gave me a sheet to review and sign which indicated additional charges like a little hand massage extra, extensive manipulation extra, etc. They do accept my insurances which are Medicare and Aetna Health and Life. However, when I called yesterday to make my appointment, I was not told any of these additional charges. I was upset that they wasted my time. If I knew these charges in advance, I would not have gone to this place. I walked out without seeing the doctor. Please make sure you know all this in advance before you visit this doctor. I went to Dr. Stein for treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia- a chronic nerve pain condition. After the very first treatment, I felt a significant decrease in my pain. Surgery is the normal recommendation for my condition but with his skill and knowledge, I was able to avoid having any surgery. After continuing with his adjustments, I became 100% pain free and was able to completely stop taking my pain medication. It was amazing. He is a very professional and thorough chiropractor. He is also compassionate and caring and takes time to really listen to you and address your specific needs. The staff are very courteous, and it is easy to schedule and reschedule appointments. He is almost always on time and I rarely have to wait. I've gone to many other chiropractors over the years and have been through many different types of treatments, but Dr. Stein was the only one who truly made a difference. I am so glad I found him. Straight crook, nice guy but con artist. Go to a real chiropractor that will put his hands on you and actually make progress. Or just a well trained massage therapist. This doctor will try to use mental manipulation to convince you he is doing work but is not really going anything but taking your money. This is the type that makes chiropractors look terrible but seriously go to him then try someone else and your first visit elsewhere you will be amazed. Straight crook, nice guy but con artist. I am among Dr Steins longest running patients. I started with him as a student athlete at 14. I will be 38 in a week. I have come to him in pieces from sports injuries more times than I can count and he’s put me back together. When I was told by a surgeon I needed shoulder surgery right away, with two adjustments at Lifeline, I had full of range of motion back and saved me from what would have been an unsuccessful surgery. On top of injuries, he has kept my body and mind in peak physical condition with regular adjustments. Dr. Stein is the best! I have had back and neck issues for over 20 years and a few visits to Lifeline Chiropractic have made an incredible difference in my life. So much so, that I drive just over two hours to see him as needed.

The office staff was very knowledgeable and empathetic to my needs. Dr Stein spent a lot of time getting to know me and my issues. Dr. Stein is very knowledgable and is great at what he does! We came to him because my daughter was having major health issues and was really sick every 2-3 weeks. I am happy to say that since we started seeing Dr. Stein and following his recommendations, my daughter has now gone over 10 weeks and is still healthy and illness free! My two kids and I have been patients of Dr. Stein for at least 5 years. Personally, I’ve transitioned from needing to see a different chiropractor every two weeks religiously due to neck pain, to seeing Dr. Stein very infrequently for tune ups, but no longer living with constant pain requiring visits. His techniques are different from other doctors, but more effective. Also through the laser acupuncture ( which sounds oovy groovy and I was a sceptic) nearly all of my seasonal allergies have disappeared, and are definitely not as debilitating as they were before doing the treatment. Living in constant pain for more then a year, where other doctors tested for everything under the sun, a single visit to Dr. Stein changed my life. For over a year, I was living with constant pain. It started at my feet and worked its way up my body. It got to the point where I was having trouble walking and I had also lost all my strength in my arms. I work construction and I work hard everyday. For the last two to three months I have been on very light duty and one might go as far as just bed rest, as I came home on the days that I could work and went to bed. I went to several doctors and told them about my pain and where it started, they tested me for everything..... all tests came back negative. How frustrating. I could deal with almost anything, I just wanted to put a name to my problems. I has several people say it is probably stress. They wanted to put me on medication and see if that would work. I was telling a friend about it and he told me that he has been on medication for depression for 20+ years.... I couldn't do that. Not that its wrong, I just thought it was wrong for me. I know that Dr. Stein can tell me if I am allergic to something and help me with that, so I gave his office a call. They fit me in a few hours later. It turns out that I hadn't seen Dr. Stein in about four years but I was still treated like I just saw him last week. I reviewed everything with him, and I told him like I felt like I was 100 years old. (I'm 47) That I have never hurt like this before. He said, well, lets start where it started, in your feet, because sometimes if your correct the problem things just work themselves out. Dr. Stein & his office staff are always welcoming, friendly & very helpful! They all truly care! I suffer from Hashimoto’s thyroid disease & had high levels of CMV (cytomegalovirus) that we’re causing chronic throat pain. Although a large portion of the population utilizes chiropractic as a healthcare modality, there are many who falsely believe chiropractic is either pseudoscience or only for back pain post car accident. Dr. Stein and his staff are great people and so helpful. I have had multiple concussions and neck/back pain from a car accident. I would have really bad headaches daily along with unbearable neck pain. Since starting the atlas orthogonal treatment I have seen tremendous improvement. Dr. Stein is simply the best. I was having debilitating backaches that my regular MD only wanted to give me pain meds for, so in desperation I tried Dr. Stein's office. His treatments stopped my pain! Also, after I had major surgery he recommended specific treatments for the healing of my scars, and both my husband and I were amazed at how quickly my scars reacted and looked so much better after following his suggestions. I have been going to Dr. Stein for 3 years now and he is the best! Very good at what he does and is a really great guy. I’ve had a few bad concussions and whiplash incidences recently and Dr. Stein really helped to speed up my recovery! Renee and Jen are also great, and scheduling is very flexible. I highly recommend going here!

I have been using services from chiropractors for many years..... some helpful and some not so good. Several years ago, I had to be adjusted twice a day. After retiring, I have settled down and needed less service until old age caught up to me. I now need help with my neck. My grandson found out about Dr. James Stein and advised me to seek his help because he had helped him and my son James through some difficult times. Wow. What a difference. I was used to being adjusted (and hurt) with twisting and crunching manipulations by various chiropractors. Dr. Stein has a much better approach. He is interested in all the whole body systems and how they relate to and affect each other. The adjustments he makes are very subtle and I am never sore from any adjustment he makes. When he puts his hands on me, they seems to seek out the places where he can feel the pain himself. I hear him saying..."right there it is screaming" or "we are making great progress here".... and he is always right on. It is as though he develops a telepathic relationship with the inner workings of your body and this helps him draw on his specialized education and decide what is the best treatment you will need to ease your problem. Definitely not a one size (or treatment) fits all. I used to try and find ways to delay treatment with other chiropractic doctors, but now find it such a pleasure to see Dr. Stein that I can hardly wait to go again. About 2 months ago I started visiting Dr. Stein and for the first time in the last few years I can say that I’m in my way to recovery. I have only been seeing Dr. Stein for a few weeks, but I feel better than I have in years! Dr. Stein truly loves what he does and for that reason is able to utilize all of his knowledge in my treatment. I am so happy that I found Dr. Stein!

My migraines have already lessened after only a couple weeks and I don't wake up with neck pain every day. The probiotic regimen is also helping with IBS. Wish I knew him 20 yrs ago!
