Went in on crutches. Dr. Scales quickly diagnosed and treated the problem in one visit. highly recommended. Crutches were not needed the next day.

Dr. Scales is truly one of the most genuine human beings you will ever meet. He did a great job. He does not make you wait. And he's not arrogant like OTHERS.

Dr. Scales and his staff are very welcoming and compassionate. I have every confidence in Dr. Scale's judgement and expertise. I have been his patient for many years and wish we had more physicians like him. R. I.

Dr. Scales is super nice and really listens to your needs. Office staff great as well. I can always get an appointment when needed and they are always on time! I wouldn't trust me feet to anyone else!

I saw Dr. James today for my "ingrown". Turns out I have something else and he was able to properly diagose it. He didn't try to sell me further services I didn't need and took the time to talk to me about how to move forward. I would recommend him to anyone. A+

Dr Scales accurately diagnosed my problem with an x-ray and examination in his office. I scheduled my surgery with him at the time of diagnosis. Amazingly, 4 weeks after surgery I was carrying a 90 pound pack for a two week trip into the Cirque of the Towers. I climbed multiple rock routes without a problem. I never once had any issues with the surgical site even though I put my foot through the ringer both climbing and carrying a heavy pack for many miles. And I am not a young man! Fast, friendly, accurate and informative.

What I appreciate about Dr. Scales is the time he takes with me as a patient. I am always able to pick his brain and feel like the time spent was quality. He is upfront and candid with me concerning my treatment options.

This guy is a great doctor. He gave me the correct and proper recommendations. His pricing was fair and reasonable. Office staff was helpful and organized. Highly recommended!!
