Yesterday I had my first Radiation. After waiting for month to get an appointment. It was so uncomfortable. The nurse and the technician were nice.But the position they put you in is so uncomfortable. Having to lay there My neck started to hurt.Six more weeks of this I don't know how I am gonna have to deal with this And the location is in the middle of nowhere. I don't know why they can't have a location near me I don't like Plano.Especially driving there. Dr. Petrikas saved my life. His swift diagnosis and plan of care was implemented immediately after receiving approval from my medical plan. He is thorough, professional, exceedingly knowledgeable, re-assuring, courteous, and explains your condition and the treatment in words the you can understand, so you can make an informed decision. I met with Dr Patrikas for my annual visit to discuss any possible continuing issues and the results of a recent lab test.

Excellent service. Taken within less than 10 minutes. Procedure quick and painless. Staff is super friendly and courteous.

First after both trying to get an Iv going twice I asked if they could get someone else.The African American male was very cocky and said"were the best there is here". So the oriental male finally got it after 3 tries. So I had ct scan. Come to find out apparently they can't read Drs.orders because they were supposed to scan my Lumbar and T spin.But they only did my lumbar.So now I have to have another one done,and it will not be at this place. Dr Petrikas and his staff provided me with excellent care. His whole staff cares for their patients and will aid you with whatever you need. I was afraid of the radiation, they calmed me, let me know what to expect and Dr. Petrikas was there if he was needed throughout my treatments. By following his directions, after 28 treatments my skin was like new upon my last visit with him. I would trust my family with him and his staff, and I don't do that for just anyone. I was referred over to Petrikas via my breast surgeon as he is apart of her team. My initial consult with Petrikas was very informative and he came off as someone that cared and is compassionate. Once I signed up for treatment, I did not get the same impression. On days that I had a follow up with him, it was rushed and factory like. He was trying to move from patient to patient as quickly as possible. The waiting time for radiation was inconsiderately long on some days. I mentioned my concerns to his nurse and it fell on deaf ears. Patients have other things going on in their lives other than sit in a waiting room due to the provider over scheduling. The worst part about my whole experience is that patients should be scheduled for a follow up about 3 months post radiation so the doctor can see how things have progressed. I was never contacted for such follow up. I did not care enough to call them either. I went elsewhere even though that’s the last thing a patient wants to do. Petrikas and his staff do not operate in a manner that shows they care for their patients. It is more of a churn and burn system with a luring approach at the beginning. I would never recommend him to anyone I know. I don’t respect him enough to call him doctor either. I was referred over to Petrikas via my breast surgeon as he is apart of her team. Dr. James Petrikas is an outstanding and astute physician who understands the anxiety of a cancer patient. He treats his patients with utmost kindness and takes his time to answer each and every question in a diligent manner until his patient is satisfied. Highly Recommend!

Outstanding doctor and caring person. He is always vert kind and patient with my father who asks him soooo many questions every time he sees him and he always answers him with a smile on his face even though my father keeps repeating the same questions. He truly understands the anxiety of a cancer patient and he is doing God's work. I don't have enough words to describe his professionalism and generosity with his patients. Highly recommend.

Great doctor and staff. Definitely made my father's cancer treatment a lot easier.
