Dr. James Patrick Maurer

I fell in my shower and broke my upper arm just below the shoulder joint. It was the type of break that couldn't be casted so it had to heal on its own. Dr. Maurer was very patient and his staff took great care of my FMLA and Short Term Disability paperwork. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to take care of me.

My son broke his left femur at age 4 when a batting cage fell on him with kids climbing on it at the T-Ball field. It was a traumatic event but the care he received at CAMC and the excellent surgeon, Dr. Mauer, made such a difference. He was great with my son, took the time to reassure me and answer all my questions and helped him to make a full recovery after surgery.
