We went to Dr. James for our USCIS medical exam and received the results in hand within 5 days. The doctor was very friendly and caring. It was a pleasure to talk to him. We needed this on an urgent basis and the front desk lady was very helpful in getting an appointment quickly. Since we needed the results quickly, we decided to have the tests done at the nearby LabCorp where they recommended. Note that they only take cash. She made one of my family members do papers every week and then the day they had to take a test, they expected them to answer even though they didn't know what to do at all. Upcharged for the service provided. $587 for the most basic and minimal physical exam I’ve ever seen a professional conduct. Plus 2 vaccinations, pee test, and blood test. Google other offices and save yourself $300. A physical exam with lab work is usually $100-$300 not close to $600.

Bad. Very first but bad impression. A first time visiting the office, referred by a friend, I came in for a SDI (State Disability Insurance). A request for $400 cash before seeing the doctor. The office does not accept credit card or check, explaining that check bounces and high interest rate on credit card. I asked to re-schedule for another day so that a cash can be made available; the receptionist was ok and did set up a new appointment date. Then came another lady in the office, confronting me and started ranting for 5 min. accusing me for not being fair to her. I was in shock but patiently waited. I asked if she did finish and began explaining my reasoning. The voice, once again, cutting off my speaking and got even louder. She then took the appointment paper and torn it off. No words left from me. I do not know if she ever took effective listening skill course. She (H?ng) is very argumentative and the conversation was only a one way communication.

Both the manager and Doctor are very kind and take care very well for the patients. Even though my dad could not understand English, he also liked this office.
