I love my LASIK results and highly recommend Dr. Kiley. Prior to my visit with Dr. Kiley, I visited another doctor who didn't feel comfortable doing LASIK (my astigmatism and myopia were too strong, he said), but instead recommended PRK. Dr. Kiley, however, was able to perform LASIK and give me great results! At the consult, for which there is a fee (which is applied to the procedure), they ran all the tests, making me feel very confident in proceeding. The top selling point was that Amanda sat down and explained every little detail - not just financial and disclaimers, but exactly what to expect before, during, and after the LASIK. She explained that we'd do 4 follow-up appointments (1 day, 1 week, 3 months, and 1 year post-op). If my vision didn't meet expectations, they'd fix it by doing another LASIK at no charge (called an enhancement). The actual LASIK is done at another location, with a cutting-edge machine. It's very quick and I was able to drive myself (with no glasses or contacts!!!) the very next day. I had minimal discomfort, just some minor dryness which has improved over time. We could tell at the 1-day and 1-week check ups that my vision wasn't quite perfect, and at the 3 month check up, they recommended the enhancement. Given that there's not an additional charge for enhancements, I was impressed that they actually recommended it - rather than me having to convince them or complain. I"m now 1 week out of the enhancement (just needed in one eye) and am thrilled with the results! The price was comparable (actually a little less) than at the other office, Dr. Kiley and his staff are all clearly experts at what they do. Fantastic experience. Had Lasix in one eye to create MonoVision. Dr. Kiley and his staff were wonderful. Amanda walked me through surgery, describing what was going on during the actual surgery. That was so helpful. Recovery was fast and smooth. I couldn't be happier!

I highly recommend Dr. Kiley. I was PETRIFIED to have lasik done, I was scared I would faint or wouldn't be able to handle it. Amanda, his assistant, was AMAZING and calmed me down! the whole process was super quick and I didn't feel one thing at all!! It is not scary. I highly recommend Dr. Kiley and Amanda to anyone!!!! I wouldn't do the surgery with anyone else! they are both AWESOME.

I have to say I love love love Dr.Kiley, Amanda, and Michelle the perfect LASIK team ever my dad was fascinated with my surgery and I am a ecstatic patient I CAN SEE without my glasses YAY...a day after and sadly back to work but did I mention I CAN SEE..so surreal THANK YOU ALL

I am so thrilled with my new eyes! I had been a contacts and glasses wearer for 20 years for nearsighted vision with a slight astigmatism. I am 28 years old so needless to say I was stoked at the thought of not having to deal with contact solution, reordering contacts and glasses which are things I had to deal with since I could remember. I have always had to rely on them because I needed a fairly strong prescription. So I had my LASIK surgery a little over two weeks ago and I have nothing but positive things to say! From the very first time I called to inquire about the surgery I was impressed. I spoke on the phone with Amanda who is the LASIK coordinator quite a few times. She worked with me to schedule my appointments despite our hectic schedule plus a 2 hour drive time. She was so helpful and kind that I was excited to meet her. My first initial appointment was to check to make sure that I was a good candidate. I was able to ask all of the many questions that my husband and I had. The appointment was very thorough and all the staff, nurses and Doctor Kiley were so nice and helpful. I was very confident after talking with Amanda and Dr. Kiley in person. I was put right at ease and was going into to my surgery with so much excitement. My husband and I knew that it was the right decision choosing The Raleigh Eye Center. In addition to all of this the price of the surgery was competitive. Just a few days after my first appointment I was headed to surgery. I wasn't too nervous at all because of the confidence I had from my initial appointment. The staff was so comforting in my surgery prep. The surgery was quick and painless. Dr. Kiley was a pro and the nurse was telling me all the steps so I didn't have to wonder what was going on. One of the coolest things was that my husband was able to be in the room and watch my eyes on the screen. He definitely thought it was cool and it was an added comfort to me for him to be there. As soon as the surgery was over I could see immediately. I was amazed! There was only slight discomfort towards the end of the first day and some the next, but no pain and every day my eyes felt better and stronger. I came in for my follow up appointment the very next morning and it went great! I could see 20/20! So here I am a little over 2 weeks from my surgery and my eyes feel so great! I can see so clearly and sharply. They feel completely normal like I never had surgery....so amazing! I would and am recommending Dr. Kiley to all my friends and family.
