Dr. James Strachan Houston

Dr Houston is the BEST doctor ever. I have never been so sick in my life and he has managed to take care of me for many years and make me feel brand new again. I am seriously depressed that he has left his practice and has a replacement that is no where close to him. He has the best bedside manner, super intelligent and he genuinely cares!! He will remain number 1 in my book as the worlds greatest doctor. He had a heart of gold who just wanted to help his patients get better. Please come back!

Used one of the "Big name" Pain Centers w offices all over Metro DC area for yrs-NSPC-before finding this awesome Dr. If you know who I mean; Switch asap & experience TRUE pain relief from this Pro who does everything the PROPER way! Most personable "bedside manner" who educates you on all the NEWEST procedures and WHY, easy to see, highly proficient & kind office staff w/no hidden charges, you wont regret any change to see Dr. H !

I started seeing him because of his online reviews. This man not only tries to treat your pain, but he also does everything he can to pinpoint the cause of your pain so that he can actually reduce it. He has prescribed physical therapy, has done two injections which didn't work, so he's re-evaluating and doing an injection in a different spot, to see if maybe that will help. I've never waited more than 5 minutes before being seen and he SPENDS TIME with me, listens to me. He is awesome!!

I have been suffering for over 14 years and hospitalized for 1/3 of each of those years with an incurable disease(cancer and chronic pancreatis) and kidney failure. Since I have been seeing Dr Houston for 2 years now, I have only had to be hospitalized TWICE!! Both Dr Houston and his staff have been absolutely fantastic. He displays genuine concern and actually listens to every word you say(not the case with the numerous Doctors that I have seen in the past)! I HIGHLY recommend Dr Houston!!

He genuinely cares about his patients. I've been seeing Dr Houston for a little over a year now and I have never had a doctor that's so caring and considerate. He really takes the time to make sure you understand what he's saying/doing. Excellent care and my condition has improved a lot since I first started seeing him.
