Dr. James Robert Etzkorn

I have been going to James Etzkorn for over 15 years, and he has been nothing but the best. Amy, Anne and Tina at the front desk, are the nicest, most accommodating assistants I have ever experienced at a doctor’s office. If you’re looking for an endocrinologist, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with him and his staff. You won’t be sorry !

Dr. Etzkorn is truly an expert in Thyroidology. His office is old school but friendly and efficient. I can't recommend this office enough!!!!

After 4 different Endos. I finally found Dr. Etzkorn. He is old school and knows about Thyroid. He has helped me tremendously.

Dr. Etzkorn has been my endo for 20 years when he was called in to consult by my primary. He's the reason I'm alive today and I can't recommend him more highly.

I had to change endocrinologists due to insurance and scheduled with Dr Etzkorn on a friends recommendation. However this office is still not on EMR which is astounding from a patient safety perspective. Very difficult to schedule appointments. I have had scripts written with the incorrect dose and then had the office not work with my pharmacy to correct it. They are not helpful on the phone. They are not helpful getting labs ordered. I don’t know how somebody unversed in healthcare today manages to find good care with limited kind assistance from staff.

Dr. Etzkorn is an exceptional endocrinologist, who worked diligently throughout my pregnancy to manage symptoms of hypocalcemia and prevent complications. I have seen 2 other endocrinologist in St. Louis and feel he is by far superior in patient care and disease management. I know my health is in trusted hands and am grateful for Dr. Etkorn's expertise.

Went to over 10 years ago, very knowledgeable and informative! Had a huge goiter and I had my thyroid removed. I have tried to go back to Dr. Etzcorn but can't get past office secretary??She said he IS NOT taking any new patients, and I explained I wasn't a NEW patient-but she insisted I was because of the time that has passed! Very frustrating and wish I could get in to see him for follow up on medicine!

One of the most knowledgeable endocrinologists! He doesn't beat around the bush and tell you what you want to hear. He tells you what you need to hear in order to take care of yourself. I guess some people don't like that but that is what makes a great doctor.

He's such an amazing and thorough physician. He really listens and takes a genuine interest and concern for his patients health.
