Was good in the beginning...then after the shots....told me to my face....to live with it....

Very Disappointing!! He was rude, condescending and had a very intimidating demeanor. He put my daughter through a battery of questions (rapid direction interrogation more like it!) only to be told she couldn’t be experiencing her stated symptoms! How can any doctor tell a patient that?? Are you in her body???? In any event it was a waste of time and money!!! Come back in three weeks and see how you are?? No Thank You!!!!

Dr. Essman and his staff were polite, professional, and prompt. He treated me with great care and efficiency. I would recommend him to anyone.

Office visit time.. Appointment was for 9:15. I arrived at 8:55 I saw Dr Essman and was back in my car at 8:13. Shocked at the quickness. Every visit is fast informative and on point. He's my hero along with the entire staff at Spartanburg Surgical Center. The wait for surgery was about 45 minutes the actual surgery 8 minutes for Trigger Finger release. Follow up was excellent! There was one step in the entire process that was not near perfect.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor was rude and wouldn't listen to what I had to say. I showed him where I was having pain, and he asked me,"what am I suppose to do about that". I'm so confused.....

The waiting times for this office are ridiculous. Of the three visits so far, my average wait time is over an hour with a total investment of about 1.5 hours per appointment. Even an 8:30 am appointment, supposedly the first of the day, is met with a minimum of a 30 minute wait. Unacceptable. Without Liz, I would give this place 1 star.
