My wife was referred to this guy. He's in his 70s... He didn't take our insurance but said he'd work with our fertility doctor. We trusted him because the woman who referred us ended up having a baby. My wife was referred to this guy. He's in his 70s... He didn't take our insurance but said he'd work with our fertility doctor. We trusted him because the woman who referred us ended up having a baby. After two months and THOUSANDS of dollars paid, he called my wife and told her in a super condescending way that he was refusing to care for her anymore because we were also going to our in-network fertility doctor.

Doctor Bryner is the best OBGYN, Infertility Specialist, Endocrinologist Specialist there is. He is careful and meticulous in his treatments and gets results when others can't. His philosophy is to preserve the body and it's organs, so he won't do shortcut surgeries. He has a 100% success rate with every person I have sent to him for infertility. TOTAL CATFISH: When you first walk in you will think that you have entered the Twilight Zone, as everything in the office is egregiously out of date, i.e. 1970's computers, (the credit card machine was 4850 flatbed, I mean come on..the typing was done on a typewriter -it was like time traveling), and a terrifying waiting area. The desk of the receptionist is a picnic/folding table, I mean yikes. The place hadn't been dusted in ages, I felt like at any moment Ashton Kutcher was going to leap out from behind a door and tell me I had been Punk'd. When I saw him in his office there was a Bible, Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, sitting on his desk. They seemed to be the only thing that had been touched in the office, ever - as the dust was astounding. He had incredibly old medical equipment stashed in his office, it was like a medical version of hoarders. I sat while he questioned my medical history, this is where I noticed how dirty his fingernails were, and where he began to lecture me on why I was ridiculous for not wanting a hormonal birth control. I was there for a check up, not to be put on the pill. I was trying to be forgiving for the environment of his office but the second I was told that I was being naive and silly by not wanting to experiment with hormones I wanted to run out of the building. I couldn't believe how comfortable he was intimidating a young woman, and how perturbed he became when I questioned him. It seems that he thinks that because he is a doctor his patients must be subservient and obey him/comply with his "recommendations". He could have been having a really bad day, but I don't care. He then informed me that he wanted to conduct a full exam -who wants a 71 year old man conducting a full exam on them with dirty fingernails and a clear and obvious agenda to do precisely what you don't want them to do -lecture/reproach/berate you for NOT wanting to take hormonal BC? Eww, if I hadn't have had my mom with me as a witness of the inappropriate -at best- behavior, I don't think anyone would have believed me! I mean, it isn't 1975 anymore, hormones are not always wonderful, and it's my body, so really I just wanted to flip him off and tell him to clean his disgusting office up, but I regrettably didn't. The reality is that a doctor shouldn't ever bully a patient into treatment that they don't want. Nor should a doctor ever expect a patient to want to be comfortable in such a nasty facility. Save your money, your time, and your body. This guy is stuck in the 70's and has horrible arrogance to go with his dated views/behavior. Save your time, your money, your comfort, and your body. Select Health shouldn't even include this clown in their network. His receptionist was really nice though, poor girl. He found all kinds of issues that were preventing me from becoming pregnant. (PCOS, endometriosis, pituitary tumor, thyroid problems). He was aggressive like I was hoping for and he was able to help treat me, and I have now had 3 beautiful children!
