Dr. James Wallentine Blotter

I would NOT recommend Dr. Blotter to anyone! I went to him back in Nov. for a problem I was having with my ear. He just chalked it up to TMJ. But during the exam he found a nasal polyp and said it needed to be removed. With my history of cancer I decided to take his advice. Big mistake! Since the surgery to remove it I have had nothing but terrible sinus infections and headaches daily! Not to mention my issue in my ear is getting worse and DEFINITELY not TMJ. Very very frustrating!!

I initially went to Dr. Blotter for a problem with my ears. He did the whole exam and found a nasal polyp. He pretty much just chalked my ear issue up to TMJ. And then moved on to the polyp saying it needed to be removed. I took his expert advice and had it removed. I totally regret that! I have had multiple sinus infections and almost daily headaches ever since! Not to mention a $3000 hospital bill. Now I have to find a new doctor who will ACTUALLY help me with the ear problem that is just getting worse and DEFINITELY NOT TMJ.

Dr Blotter is awesome! However his PA I was very unimpressed with! My son is having reoccurring ear issues even after tubes. She was very rude and condescending. She didn’t believe a thing I was saying. She made it sound like I didn’t know I was talking about and that all the ear problems my son is having that I was imagining. She practically was using air quotes when she spoke without actually using. I have never walked out of an appointment more mad and frustrated ever! Dr Blotter is awesome! Best doctor ever! Wish I could have a doctor this good for all the other areas of my life. He is very knowledgeable, quick, to the point, confident, and kind. He is also light-hearted and fun, which aren't necessary traits but great plusses to have in any doctor. There was also a clear difference in his ability to diagnose my condition. At the Instacare, all I ever heard was a ton of "I don't know"s and "maybe"s, whereas Dr. Blotter was able take one quick look and already could say what I most likely was dealing with. He's most definitely a specialist and he is good at what he does. I will definitely be coming here again. Best doctor ever! Wish I could have a doctor this good for all the other areas of my life. I saw Dr Blotter in 2000 for sinus and fractured nasal turbinate. We decided on surgery that I had put off for years and results were great. If I needed surgery for similar reasons or knew anyone who did I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to them.

Dr Blotter and his staff were excellent in the entire process from initial consult through follow-up following the procedure.

Dr Blotter treated me for sudden hearing loss. I am so impressed by him. I have been in medical field 30 years and have heard about his awesome reputation from others he has cared for. He was the first name that came to mind when I needed help. I highly recommend him. He is great with patients and very knowledgeable.

Dr Blotter has been amazing. Where other doctors have said come back when you are sick(again), he was proactive in helping me get to where I need to be with being able to breathe and sleep.

I love Dr Blotter! However they really need to work on their scheduling. Wait times are out of control. I don’t have the time or the patience to wait 30 + min to see the dr.

I was having migraines almost daily, lasting for days at a time. I had tried many things and saw several other doctors. He was able to help me. I have migraines only occasionally now.

Excellent experience. Dr. Blotter actually took the time to listen and answer my questions and was very careful on a small procedure he did while I was there. Didn't try to push me through like so many others do. Very impressed.

Dr. Blotter was kind and considerate. He explained each step of the procedure in advance and made sure I was prepared. His manner was reassuring and I felt relaxed and confident that everything would go the way he had explained, and it did. I highly recommend Dr. Blotter.

Blotter is a skilled surgeon and excellent caregiver, in terms of listening, explaining procedures, and seeming comfortable and at ease during interaction. My son and I have both had tonsillectomy, adenoid, and sinus surgery under him. The results have been life-changing for both of us. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love Dr. Blotter! But very aggravated & unimpressed with the staff & Medical Assistants, very very unprofessional & not personable at all.

Had to wait an hour after our appointment time. Waiting area is generic. Staff should let patients know if they are running late and how long the wait will be. Good experience after finally getting to the doctor.

Just got to say kuddos to him and his staff. He performed surgery on all my kids and myself as well. They are the most patient and caring staff i have ever been around. Thank you
