Likeable BUT he wanted to put me on a statin based only on my total cholesterol. According to the American College of Cardiology Risk Estimator Plus (online) I am low risk (4.2% for 10 yr ASCVD risk) and not a candidate for statins. Unfortunately my impression is Dr. Cyrus practices medicine quick and fast, over prescribes statins., and therefore isn't someone I want helping me manage my health. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cyrus for many years. Does anyone know where he went? One of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. Hope to continue being his patient.

Is Dr. Cyrus still practicing? If so, can you tell me where? He is the best Dr. I have ever seen!!! I have seen Dr. Cyrus for probably 20 yrs, my last visit I was told he left Baptist East Medical. Any information would be appreciated!!!

Dr. Cyrus and his whole staff were so wonderful and he was so informative while listening really well to my experience with my thyroid history. He is the best endocrinologist I have ever met; he made me feel hopeful about managing my health. I look forward to going back for my check-up appt.

Dr. Cyrus was attentive and helpful. His help, not so much. Too bad he retired after my first visit with him!

Dr cyrus is a good doctor. Easy to talk to and listens to you. I wasn't rushed in or out that's becoming the norm these day's. Nurses where very nice and know there job's. The receptionist were again very pleasant to me. Dr Cyrus is a endocrine specialist and waste no time trying to get to the root of your health problems, not the usual " here take this medication and see if it works". They have a lab in house, and he will talk with you on your first visit about your health problems and if needed do labs while your there. If you're health problems are on going, you're next appointments will be done this way a lab appointment then two weeks later your doctor appointment. This gives time for all lab work to be completed and in you're file and time for him to make observations and a plan for your treatment. As I said a very good doctor. Dr cyrus is a good doctor. Excellent Physician - Spends time with patient explaining various options for my clinical care. Very knowledgeable on latest trends and is personable.

If the doctor is anything like the office staff, I am in trouble. A person can spend all day trying to get through on the phones. When I finally got through they had to call me the next week to schedule an appointment but forgot. So, I called in today and as the lady is yelling across the office asking who called me, miraculously, I get a call from the office. I didn't answer but was put on hold with the conversation I was currently having and the lady that just called got on the line and said "I called you, did you get my message?" Oh, you mean the one from two minutes ago because you heard the lady yelling. She played it off as if it was earlier and told me it's ok as if I messed something up. I can verify everyone's comments on the office staff are accurate.**frustrated** Day of appointment… this place doesn't even deserve to be open. I was on my way early to make sure I found the place. Unsuccessful, spend 45 minutes on the phone to have appointment canceled and get hung up on.

I liked Dr Cyrus but everything else about my experience with this office was terrible. They called in the wrong medicines to the pharmacy, didn’t follow up when I called the office, and were completely dismissive of my concerns. Don’t waste your time. The office staffs and nurse practitioner were rude and condescending when I asked questions.

I've referred several family members to Dr. Cyrus. He's been my Dr for close to 30 years. Always on top of any health concerns. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My problems aren't necessarily with Dr. Cyrus but with the office in general. They have in the past (and still attempt to for every NP visit) overcharged me with my co-pay when seeing the nurse practitioner by charging me with the specialist fee which is not correct when only seeing the nurse practitioner. I spent months to get my fee's corrected and credited back to my account. Re-scheduling is also difficult as they will attempt to re-schedule you months out from your original appointment.

Office wait time 30-40 minutes past my appointment. When I got in the room, I felt rushed. To schedule my next appointment, I couldn't be seen for another 4-5 months, he asked that I come back in 3. Everything went downhill from there. I had problems with the medication and couldn't get calls back explaining what to do. I only had more and more prescriptions called in with no direction. When I would get a call from them, they were very rude and NOT CARING and do not recommend this practice

Initially liked Dr. Cyrus even though the visit was rushed and he left the room with a phone call. He did extensive bloodwork that no one called with results on. There was a prescription called in to my pharmacy for hypothyroidism again no one called me to tell me I had this. Staff is not the friendliest and one person especially was not compassionate with my frustration with their lack of communication.

Extremely poor communication that seems to border on the negligent.

Current on the latest Hashimoto's aka AutoImmune Thyroiditis/thyroid disease research and medical publications. Orders complete thyroid panel and is knowledgeable and experienced about various medication therapies available including T3, synthetic and natural T4/T3 combos, and compounding for people with allergies.

Initially very good - since then very bad. Doc indicated may be changing medication based on blood work results - info not shared with patient; Pharmacy called to pick up new prescriptions; called office several times to learn which meds to take and which to replace - no call backs to 3 calls. One prescriptions causes pancreatitis which is adverse to my health history - stated that in call - no one in this office responses to patient inquiries or concerns.
