Takes his time, and is extremely patient with my elderly parents. Professional and concerned. Great bedside manner. Office procedures with scheduling was different, but not bad, and the staff is very kind.

Very rude staff, Dr is ok

Yes the wait can be long. I plan for an hour if I don't get the first appointment of the day or right after lunch. Yes Dr Joseph can be quick with the appointment. HOWEVER, he will not BS you. If you need a specialist, he will refer you. If you have a concern, he'll keep searching until you feel satisfied with the answer. The staff isn't rude...Maybe frank but not rude. I feel there's a difference. There's one amin. There's one nurse. If you need a bigger office with quicker service, you may not want to go here. My entire family goes to Dr Joseph. Maybe we enjoy it because we have similar personalities. I usually can get a quick appointment. They don't harass and threaten your credit if you forget to pay your copay, but do usually request payment at time of service. Prime location in Fairfax. I've been going to him for over a decade. Dr. Joseph is professional, kind, and caring - all qualities I expect out of a physician. I've known him for several years and he's always provided quality care while making a point to ask how I'm doing as a person. While I give 5 stars to Dr. Joseph as a physician, I will say that his office can be quite chaotic. Some of the administrative staff are very difficult to deal with. I've known Dr. Joseph for years. He has consistently been professional, kind, and efficient. All qualities I look for in a physician. While some of his administrative staff are difficult to deal with, I've never had a problem with Dr. Joseph.

Receptionist is quick to dismiss and tries to quickly get you off the phone. Ended up waiting for over an hour AFTER my appointment time for a 5 minute appointment. Doctor is nice enough though I guess. There are other doctors and offices that actually care about their patients. I'd recommend you find one of those. I saw DR. Joseph at the Herndon office never had any issues. I went to Fairfax due to Herndon office closing. Unfortunately my experience there was horrible. I was never told my insurance was not accepted and billed me $700 I spoke to sandy I was trying to explain to her that at Herndon I did not have any issues and she shut me up and told me to thank my insurance rude No explanation what’s so ever .. I would not give this doctors office even a one star, but I have to so I am. Dr. Joseph is nice but very quick to get out of the room. Visited him in 2015 and later got billed in 2017. Went in and paid the amount that was due and just recently got another bill for the remaining amount. This office is awful and inconvient for people who have to go into the office. The recepitionist is rude as well. I would not recommend this place to any one. Many better options then this office. I would not give this doctors office even a one star, but I have to so I am. Dr Joseph is thoughtful and thorough. But the office environment can be a little hectic at times.

He's been our doctor for the past 15 years. He is very good for general treatments and he refers to the right specialists for any specific issues.

Do not go to this office. Dr. Joseph is fine, his office staff is not. I was billed for service 2 years after the visit. When I called to question the bill the person there said that "old statements where sent out in error" and that I would have to speak to Sandy. I left a message for Sandy to call me back. After a week and no return call I tried to reach Sandy again. Once I got Sandy on the phone she was very standoffish and rude and told me that I have to pay now or be sent to collections. What kind of business practice is this? All I wanted to know is why the bill is being sent now instead of 2 years ago when I would have happily paid it. Dr. Joseph has been my primary care physician for over 15 years. He has a gentle touch in doing exams, asks good questions, and listens carefully to the answers. He stays abreast of developments in the medical field and is willing to intelligently and patiently discuss the pros and cons of medical procedures. He has a nice, calm, reassuring demeanor.

My son went to get a tetanus and diptheria vaccination required by his school. Instead of billing him for vaccination, the doctor's office billed for vaccination and for a sick visit. This resulted in them getting paid double the amount. I called my insurance company and they said the doctors office has to correct the code on their claim. I have called 3 times but nobody bothers to do anything. They promise to give a message to the office manager but the next person I call says there are no notes that I called earlier.
