Dr. J David Swift

I was a patient of Dr Swift for a brief period. Fortunately. During my last visit in Fall of 2020, he went off on a political rant and was quoting easily debunked right wing conspiracy theories. I found it really disturbing that someone in charge of my healthcare would not only subscribe to such falsehoods but also that he saw no problem with letting me know that was what he believed. Fortunately he retired shortly after that. The most recent reviews here make me wonder if other patients had similar experiences.

He seems polite and friendly at first, but it quickly becomes clear that his only interest is getting you out the door as quickly as possible. He will not provide actual medical care. You'll be billed for a service you never received. Don't waste your time and money.

He seemed to be more interested in the dirt on the floor, than any issues I had. Only saw him once. Not sure what it will cost, but left feeling worse than when I got there. I'm willing to give him a second chance, but can you get a refund for medical services?

The worst medical experience of my life. Dr Swift started out seeming like a good doctor. Though this first meeting was only so in depth because he charged my insurance for an entire physical without my approval. Future appointments were five rushed minutes that Dr swift barely listened during, where he pushed hard narcotics and tranquilizers against my expressed wishes. The office staff are incapable of setting appointments with any other medical services, often I had to make the calls my self.

I've been a patient of Dr. Swift for many years and continue to be impressed by his dedication to staying up to date on the latest information about medicines, health, and nutrition. He assesses the whole person and the whole body, a rare find in the medical profession these days. As an independent physician he can focus on his best judgement rather than being beholden to a corporation. I would recommend him to everyone.

I have been a patient currently, and in the past, of Dr. J. David Swift. i have found him to be very knowledgeable, caring, and skilled medically. He is a doctor who keeps current and updated on new medical developments. Dr. Swift is proactive, and eager to work as a team with other medical professionals. He takes time with each patient, and makes sure that all questions are answered clearly. His passion is helping people get the best medical care possible. Recommend highly.

Dr. Swift has been my husband's (Enzo Loop) doctor for several years and has been excellent He never makes you feel rushed and makes sure all your questions are answered. He will check on anything you have a question about and give you a personal phone call to make sure you have an answer. Very personable (and sneaks in a joke every once in awhile). Definitely would recommend him.

Dr Swift has been my primary care family doctor for more than a decade. He is always attentive and tends to focus on long term solutions related to diet, exercise, stress as well as the normal medical methods available. He is caring and interesting and I highly recommend him.

This Dr. has a lot of compassion when it comes to his patients! The most I waited in the waiting room is 5 minutes, then in the Dr. office room the most I waited was 10 min. He is dedicated to helping people, and he cares. The office staff is super friendly, never had a problem with them! I would highly recommend this Dr. to anyone that wants and needs help. Dr. Swift has very good bedside manners & will take the time to listen & consult. He has an interest and is knowledgeable in current treatments. He also is empathetic and genuinely interested in his patients. The staff are professional, friendly, and are integral to Dr. Swift's practice.

Dr. Swift is thorough and doesn't mind taking time with his patients. Like most doctors he has a busy schedule, but he always seems to take the time to ask about family and to get to know his patients. I appreciate his treatment philosophy - as I understand it (in my experience) he has a heavy focus on becoming and being healthy through proper diet and exercise. This may seem common, but I don't believe that's the case. I had high cholesterol and my wife was pregnant at the time when I had my initial consultation with Dr. Swift. My former Dr. (I switched for insurance reasons and am glad I did) never even mentioned my cholesterol levels. I have more than a few friends/relatives with cholesterol issues, and they are all on medication for it and the typical consensus is that diet and well being doesn't come before the medication talk. Dr. Swift urged me to get healthy and let my cholesterol numbers come back into line on their own. I took his advice to begin eating properly (such as the Eat to Live type of diet) and within 2 months my cholesterol was in great shape and I was down 20 pounds. I am now down 30 pounds and very healthy. This would not be the case had I not switched to this office. I recommend Dr. Swift wholeheartedly, and have done so on multiple occasions. I became a patient of Dr. Swift around 2004. Of all the doctors that I have had Dr. Swift is the best one of all. He is very educated in the medical field and continues to stay on top of new techniques through studying. Dr. Swift will not hesitate to treat your conditions by his own knowledge and/or by referrals. He is very concerned about each person who he sees. He treats each one as if that person is the only patient he has. I have many medical problems and he actually saved my life on one occasion finding a problem prior to it affecting me. As a Christian, Dr, Swift's desire is to do the very best for each person. He has even prayed with me on a few occasions when I needed assurance. I thank God daily that he is my doctor. Doctor Swift has been my doctor for over five years, Dr. Swift in my opinion is within the top four of all the doctors I have been to. Dr. Swift is the most up to date doctor I have ever worked with on my health. Dr. Swift has followed up on all issues I have had with other Doctors, that's great for me. Dr. Swift also has a list of other doctors, I have been sent to and every one has been very close to the top in the area; this is very important to me.
