Israel Alfonso

My daughter is 31 years old and has Dravet Syndrome. During the first few years of her life, Dr. Alfonso was her neurologist. As she aged and became too old for Dr. Alfonso to follow her, whenever she had a lengthy hospital stay, he would pass by to see her. Many a night, we would converse about history, politics and philosophy. He is attentive, thoughtful, erudite and an incredible human being. As a physician he is second to none, only secondary to his stability and empathy as a person.
