I was very pleased with my visit. Explanations were very good. Dr recalled history from my records I had forgotten. I'm optimistic about my prognosis. Only compliant is it took way to long to get in to be seen - 5 weeks while in pain

Doctor and staff very nice helpful true a phone call they helped me to get to their office when I lost my way even being late the team worked with the doctor to have me diagnosed because I live far away and In my condition couldn't offered coming back and that really touching and caring about a patient privilege thank you

Dr. Young did an extremely good job of explaining the problem with both my spine and hip!I have never had an issue in this area so my level of understanding prior to our meeting was minimal. She really helped me to understand the issue and my next steps. Very supportive!

I've only seen Dr. Young once so far in relation to an injury from an auto accident. She scheduled an MRI for me in January so I can't comment as to it yet. Other than that, I am pleased with her bedside manner and everything else.

Dr. Young is great and I feel lucky to have been assigned to her. I have never had the health issue that I am experiencing, so it can be scary not to know what's coming in terms of treatment and recovery. Dr. Young and her staff put me at ease because I feel like they care and are doing everything they can to help, including referrals and following up very fast to any type of communication.

Dr. Young is an excellent listener. As a result she is great at diagnosing what is causing your pain.

I had an accident 2 years ago and have seen 10 different doctors. Dr. Young was by far the most accessible, supportive, and easy to understand of all the doctors I have seen. She is empathetic, yet professional and she provided me with more support and guidance in the 2-3 visits I had with her than any of the other doctors I have seen.

Dr Young has helped me, been my lifesaver, for 25 years!!! Even during cancer treatment she helped me out right away so I didn't have to miss radiation appointments. Our family recommends Dr. Irene Young 100%!!!

Dr. Young is a caring, compassionate, and highly skilled Physiatrist. I was in 7-8/10 level pain when I came to her. She got me right in for MRIs to help diagnose my condition. She referred me to the Swedish Interventional Radiology (IR) Department for an epidural steroid injection which significantly reduced my pain. My IR team (led by Dr. Parikh) was spectacular. The quality of my life has dramatically improved because of Dr. Young's excellent care. I highly recommend her and the Swedish Medical Center Staff.

My visits have been with Dr Irene Young. She is a great listener and she included me in the treatment decisions. I felt that she cared about me and took the extra steps to ensure my comfort and wellbeing.

She is excellent! I love her. She listened to me and HEARD my issue, which I have been battling with for last 4 months. Nobody HEARD me until I saw her. I have been on a medical merry go round for months seeking help for and injury at gym that has turned my life upside down. So many doctors and so many tests. Tests for things I wasn't even seeking help for. But Dr YOUNG listened to my words and quickly understood my issue and immediately sought a plan to help me. Car accident in March 2016, and 3 of 3 appointments felt disconnected, as if I had to make suggestions for treatment. It would be great to feel as if she actually cared about healing, but in the 45 minute appointment we spent literally 7 minutes together in the room, with half of it repeating the conversation from the previous appointment. After 7 months of asking for direction, she suggests steroid/cortisone injections and is eager to get me scheduled. "Well, you're not getting any better, and the pain is still there" is the conclusion when there's little to no involvement in the actual treatment. The only healing I've accomplished was by looking up exercises and doing them at home. Dismissed my excruciating leg pain, but advised me to come back every 6 weeks, purely as a money grab. I even told her if my only option to relieve the pain was to cut off my legs I would take it. Turns out I have stage IV deeply infiltrating endometriosis on my USL and siatic nerves. Wasn't found until I had to have surgery for suspected ovarian cancer years later. Treated me like a hysterical liar. Useless diagnostician. Utterly unhelpful. Condescending. Don't go to her.
