Dr. Irene Y. Tong

Dr. Tong saved my life by doggedly asking a million questions and keeping all the weird pieces of my health suspended like puzzle pieces in the air until they fell into a constellation that fit my very rare disease. (Most people have to wait 6 years to get a diagnosis for this disease, and in that time, you lose a lot.) I was able to have a pretty normal life with a really serious disease because she caught it before it did its damage. You can complain about her slow office, her soft voice or whatever, but this woman is brilliant and diligent and the person you want to see when you know something is wrong with you, but it's vague and you are written off by others. She will leave no stone unturned in caring for you.

This is the most efficient office I've ever been to.. I had a great experience

I love Dr Tong and the office staff!!! They are always helpful and she always spends enough time with me I never feel rushed and answers any questions. I would highly recommend her!!

She takes her time with each patient and is very clear when recommending treatment options. Excellent bedside manners. Extremely knowledgable doctor. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Tong and her office have never bothered to return any of my calls. They performed $1500 worth of tests and then never bothered to go over them.

Dr. Tong is probably one of the most thorough doctors I have ever seen. She spent a good hour with me going through my medical history, and really taking her time to get to know everything about what was important. She has a gentle way about her, and put me at ease right away. She followed up with a phone call a few days later, going through my lab results, and showed real compassion and caring. Her office has a lab, X-rays, and bone density machine right there so you don't have to go running around to get tests done...it's convenient, and you get your results right away. I highly recommend Dr. Tong and give her 5 stars! Dr. Tong is probably one of the most thorough doctors I have ever seen. Dr Tong has been a trusted health provider for aproximately 30 years. She is thorough in her research, diagnosis and taking time to deal with patient as a person.
