Dr. Ira Richard Cohen

I have been extremely satisfied for 10 years. Surgery for plantar faciatus..was completed for both feet in 2015 and 6. I'm now at 2021 and have been having pain at least 3 years +, amountofpainstrongenoughto hurt me and make me cry. I have grinned and bare it but it's at a point I can't and my job and health are suffering. The pain I feel currently are what seems like several of the bones in the top of my foot hitting when walking. I can literally her two bones collide and a popping begins. Can you all help me get over this? I've list 40 lbs in 8 weeks, I'm scared due to the extreme pain things will turn around for the negative. Please help me! Dr. Cohen is a serious no nonsense older man of few words yet very gentle and answered all my concerns. I highly recommend him at least for ingrown which is what I went to see him for. Also, they accepted TriCare for all you military peeps and they are within network. Thank Doc and staff :)

I went for a check on a cyst on my foot, very quick and direct visit. The staff at the front desk were very polite and efficient. I was supposed to see Dr. Cohen, but instead was seen by Dr. Kanda, but that doesn't bother me because she was very friendly and very professional. The fact that I didn't have to wait a very long time to see the doctor was also great, within twenty minutes, since I've waited for other doctors up to an hour. Overall excellent experience. After waiting 3 weeks, for an appointment, Dr. Cohen personally refused to honor, my appointment because I would not give him my Social Security Number and my Drivers License Number. This information is NONE OF HIS BUSINESS. According to Medicare, my Medicare ID Card is all he needed, in order to see me. Furthermore, my Drivers License Number belongs with me and The California DMV, not him and his staff. Unless you're willing to give him and his staff, your personal, PRIVATE information, go elsewhere.

Dr. Cohen is knowledgable, professional and considerate when it comes to patients' Podiatry needs. I highly recommend him.

The best podiatrist, for many years when other Doctors couldn't help me with my severe dryness, Dr. Cohen did, he is simply the best!!

Dr. Cohen treated my ingrown toenail today, I hardly felt the shots and the actual procedure was done in less than a minute. Completely pain free. A highly skilled podiatrist, best minor surgery ever.
