My grandmother has been a patient here as of recently. She was supposed to have a telemedicine visit with the doctor. The appointment was rescheduled 3 times for a fairly urgent matter. After the third rescheduling, the doctor never called her, the office never let her know that he was running late or would cancel and she sat by phone for 5 hours waiting and anxious. The following day when she called the office, they couldn’t even bother to apologize or connect her to the doctor to make up for the missed appointment. Very disorganized office, and bad communication with patients- which for a specialty as urgent as hematology is extremely irresponsible, unprofessional and frankly unacceptable. Great doctor, always happy to help! Listens carefully and requesting the tests you need.

I have been seeing Dr. Bloch for around six years now. My last appointment August 20, 2020.The level of professionalism Exhibited by the doctor and his staff rate five stars. It does not matter whether you are there in person or over the phone! They are fabulous! The doctor is methodical, gives you the time that you need and his staff follows suit! You will not find better care anywhere!

I came here for a second opinion and not impressed at all.The Dr Blokh was really busy w his phone more than with a patient( And the best option for me he is find as -to send me again to Maimonidies hospital( I recently been there with not good expirience (. What the point to send patient again to the hospital where he's been before and it's wasnt really helpful... Sarah from Midwood, NY Dr. Blokh has been my hematologist for many years. He is caring, takes time to answer my questions and concerns.

I would not recommend this doctor for four reasons: #1 - wait time. I waited over two hours to be seen by this doctor and even saw one patient leave before his appointment. #2 Dr. Blokh may be knowledgeable but he needs to learn how to talk to people. Don't talk to your computer, talk to me. #3 I have switched specialists and have now asked this office 4 times to fax my records over to the new hematologist. They have yet to do so. #4 Be more positive. Another reason I switched.
