The first time I met with Dr. Grable, my husband and I contemplated leaving the practice. There were 9 other doctors though, and we just hoped not to have to deal with him again. He pushed a c section from the start. I'm allergic to pain medication and antibiotics and have epilepsy and a bleeding disorder. I'm not a candidate for a c section. I had a wonderful pregnancy. I hired a doula who helped me labor naturally for 30 hrs and get to 9 cm on my own. Dr. Grabel forced me and bullied me into a c section. He said the baby will be pulled out dead or alive. I wish I hadn't been exhausted and that I'd known my rights. I should've fired him and kicked him out of my room. A week after the surgery, I ended up so infected, I was septic. I never healed correctly. Had an open wound for 6 weeks. Wound vacuum. Couldn't nurse or bond with my baby. I can't get pregnant again likely due to the scar tissue. I have constant pain in the area and trauma from the entire situation.

My husband and I met with Dr. Grabel today for the first time. He was fantastic- answered all of our questions and was extremely thorough, made us feel very comfortable. What I loved most was his ability to answer a question- he actually stopped and would think about what your asking and then thoughtfully ask a question back- it wasn’t just a generic response because he was listening to what we were asking. I highly recommend Dr. Grabel and look forward to meeting with him again!

I really loved Dr. Grable. I instantly felt like I was in good hands after I met with him. He was thorough, knowledgable, patient with my questions and I loved his quick wit. I highly recommend him and I'm looking forward to working with him the rest of my pregnancy.
