Great doctor she is friendly and always listens to what I have to say. Don’t feel like am just another patient when am there. Her staff is extremely caring and friendly as well.

Would absolutely NOT recommend to family or friends. This is the worst experience I've had with a healthcare provider. She comes off as unfriendly and uncaring during normal interactions, which may be a result of poor communication & language skills. She does not explain things clearly, and becomes arrogant, condescending, and defensive bordering on combative when asked direct questions. Does not seem well prepared for appointments. Do not recommend for any reason. If you are unlucky enough to have a stroke and are automatically referred to her by Edward Elmhurst hospital, please do yourself a favor and see someone else.

This is a horrible doctor. She argues with patients and does not listen nor take the time to really hear concerns. This is my first review I have ever left for a doctor. I have total respect for doctors, but not for her. She needs to find a job not working with people.

Wore experience, not caring and compassionate with me I thought she will listen to my concerns as a first visit but is like other professionals. When you have a chronic disease and you are new to all the symptoms you expect a little bit more from an specialist. Before make the this appointment I read good and bad reviews about this doctor, I wanted to be optimistic (no like my disease) and give her a try but I wasted my time and money.

Terrible social skills. She doesn’t respond in an emergency situation when her office is open. Very smug and cocky with absolutely no reason to be. It appears that’s her overall reviews speak for themselves even though I think they are too generous. Do yourself a favor and save time and energy by choosing somebody who is qualified. I am genuine in saying that my experience with her (my wife was the patient) was one of the worst and most traumatizing medical experiences I’ve ever experienced and I’ve seen quite a bit. Dr. Muqtadar was treating me for migraine. She is really nice but the billing office is intolerable. They billed the wrong insurance 3 times. The office manager kept telling me it was my fault, even though I gave them my insurance card at every office visit and asked them to correct the billing. I changed doctors because of this. Not a good doctor what so ever! She is argumentitive and condescending when you ask direct questions also when she doesn't have an answer she ups your pain medication. I have gone for a 2nd opinion and got so much better service and a game plan. Even my primary doctor who works with her said to change doctors. He said she plays the blame game and he didn't like it. I again do not recommend her.

I would not recommend this physician. Seriously, stay away. These other reviewers are correct. This is my very first review which indicates how disappointed I was in my visit. She disregarded my views as a patient and was dismissive. She seemed to have no desire to understand and further explore source of pain. Overall I didn’t feel she was concerned about finding the source of my issue and didn’t want to try or follow up.

This is a terrible doctor, She gave me the medication that did not work and I request the change but she disregards my concern and ignore my opinion. For me, Dr Muqtadar is irresponsible and doesn't have a work ethic as a doctor

Dr. Muqtadar disregards her patients and does not listen to them. She makes errors in her work consistently and does nothing to fix them. Edward Hospital's reputation has taken a hit because of her, unfortunately. I waited two week for her to correct errors she made after meeting with me on some paperwork that she filled out. I was in indescribable pain the entire time and was unable to have the proper tests until she fixed them. Even after calling during business hours, she didn't return my calls. Dr. Muqtadar's actions speak volumes about the type of doctor and person that she is. Stay far away from this person. Dr. Muqtadar disregards her patients and does not listen to them. She is amazing... She gave me a brand new way at looking at my health and the tools to do something about it

Dr. M is such a caring woman. She has helped me over the past 4 years manage my migraines using various treatments. Once, I needed to fill out some paperwork but had a migraine and she sat with me and helped me fill it out. I’ve never seen a doctor go the extra mile like that.

I used to be Dr. Hurmina Muqtadar. This is a terrible doctor as she tried to convince me to use her product from third party and when I refused to use it, she lied on my record that I didn’t show up on time and didn’t follow up my treatment. She is a liar in my opinion. She didn’t care for her patients, and she is not honest. In my opinion, she is not qualifying to be a doctor. Please stay away from this doctor

My wife has been suffering from severe pain. Dr. Muqtadar suggested an emergency MRI to be completed no later than the following day. She said not to get the MRI until she called us and gave the order. It has been two days and my wife has been in indescribable pain. I have been calling the doctor's office and have not received a call back. It is now after 4 pm and the office is closed for the day. It is nice to know how the doctor treats her patients with severe pain.

She was dismissive and condescending. She actually said, "Some people are not sick, but you give them a pill, and they feel better. I'll give you an MRI, you will feel better. But I will not order contrast" 4 years later an MRI WITH contrast shows what that one missed. yep 4 YEARS of growth undetected. I recommend you find a different neurologist

If I could have an option for 0 star for this doctor Hurmina Muqtadar, I would. In my opinion, this doctor is not an honest doctor. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Had an EEG on Monday and was told that it would be read by Dr. Muqtadar within 48 hours. It has been passed that time so I called to make sure they got the results. I was then told by the nurses that it would take another 5-7 business days. I need the results to drive, so I thought it would be read in a reasonable amount of time.
