Dr. Hashmi has been AMAZING with our daughter! Our daughter had reflux and dairy allergies when she was born, and she was so helpful. She is so friendly and great with our baby! You can tell she loves what she does. Anyone who needs a pediatric G.I. doctor, I HIGHLY recommend her!

Dr. Hashmi is seriously the BEST. She has helped with both of my daughters over the last few years. She is so kind and caring. Dr. Hashmi is a good listener with super interpersonal skill with her pediatric patients and their parents. Professional communication that is respectful of the patient and informative to parents/guardians. I am grateful she was able to diagnose and cure my daughter of her GI discomforts.

My pediatrician ignored every issue we had with our baby girl . We finally took her to Dr. Hashi , with a recommendation by friends and finally we found out our baby had reflux and milk protein allergy. Dr. Hashmi not only helped our girl , she was caring , and gave us great directions !

Dr. Hashmi was an angel in my daughter's life! I started seeing her when my daughter was 5 weeks old. She was crying in pain every time she ate, had horrible constipation and was extremely fussy. Dr. Hashmi immediately noticed the pain, did a quick test and found her to have a dairy allergy. Within 3 weeks, it was like I had a new baby! She was so happy, no constipation, drinking! Dr. Hashmi would give us clear direction on where to go next at each appointment and she always was so kind to my daughter. After more than a year, Dr. Hashmi said we no longer need to come there and I was so sad! I know this is very good news that my daughter is so healthy now but I am sad to not have visits with her anymore! She is truly an amazing doctor.

I owe so much to Dr. Hashmi. From my very first appointment her attention and care has been the best. She always goes above and beyond. She is kind, patient and understanding. She leaves no stone unturned. Over the years she has recognized red flags with my health that otherwise were dismissed by my primary doctor. Dr. Hashmi is the best pediatric GI in our area and comes highly recommended by all of her patient’s parents. She is kind and patient. She listens to her patients and their parents. She is an expert and is careful in prescribing medications as well as testing and procedures. She chooses the most conservative and least evasive path. Children should not be subjected to harsh medications and difficult procedures if they are not necessary. We were recommended to Dr. Hashmi by our pediatrician when my daughter was only 4 months old due to repeated bouts of puking, lack of weight gain, and being on a reflux medicine that was not working. We had many sleepless nights and an insane amount of laundry. We literally held our poor child facing forward whenever possible because we knew at least that way it wasn't going all over us. Dr. Hashmi was worth every bit of the 1.5 hour drive to Batavia (thrilled that she now has an office in Buffalo!). In our first visit she figured out that our baby had a dairy allergy, sent her for testing to confirm the severity if her reflux, and got her on medication that actually helped her (and us)! After about 2 years we have finally weaned off the reflux medicines and are a 1000% better than when we started. Dr. Hashmi has been a miracle worker! My son had a milk protein allergy and we have been seeing her since he was 2.5 months old (he’s now 1) and I have no complaints at all. She is so easy to reach and ALWAYS has an answer to every single question I had. Great Doctor! Upon seeing Dr. Hashmi we realized our son had a long standing issue that needed specialized care. Testing and treatment was immediately performed. In order to treat the issue we were sent to the hospital where she could give him the necessary immediate care. Today he's doing great as we will be seeing her until he's totally100%. Dr. Hashmi is a great doctor. She has taken great care of both of my children. I would recommend her to all my family and friends. She has a nice office in the Northtowns.

Dr. Hashmi. Is the best. She treated both my kids and has the best bed side manner. My kids were always excited to see her. She is smart, compassionate and listens to your concerns. She is very thorough and is not a pusher with long term medication. My son went from under weight and not eating to being discharged and at a healthy weight.l and on zero reflux meds. My daughter went from having terrible belly pain and multiple hiccups a day to being hiccup free, belly pain free and no meds!!

After reading lots of reviews online we decided to take our 2 month old baby when I thought he was constipated and had a reflux issue! Dr. Hashmi was a god send!!! She discovered he had a cows milk allergy, severe constipation and an acid reflux issue! With special formula and meds he was able to overcome all of these at 15 months old!! Today he graduated from there and I can not be more thankful for all their help and guidance! Every email was promptly answered and helped me figure out every issue!! Please do not hesitate to give them a chance to help you!! She was more than worth the hour and 15 min drive we used to make out to Batavia before they opened the Buffalo office!!! To add to all of that she is compassionate and caring and never rushed in and out of the visits! We honestly loved going there and will miss her!!!

We came to Dr. Hashmi with a screaming crying baby. We left with a happy, healthy and plump baby! We cannot thank Dr. Hashmi enough for listening to all of our concerns and properly diagnosing as well as comforting our little one. She acted quickly to help us resolve Amelia’s dairy and soy intolerance. She also gave us plenty of tips and tricks for helping with any side effects we might encounter. Needless to say we left her office less than a year later with the happiest baby!

Dr. Hashmi took care of our son from 2 months to 13 months due to acid reflux and food allergies. She is calm,kind, intelligent and has a wonderful bedside manner. Our visits were always enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend Dr. Hashmi.

Dr. Hashmi is AMAZING! She is one of the few pediatric GI’s that pediatricians will refer to. She is kind, caring and always looks for the least evasive but most helpful approach to her patient’s needs. She is very thorough and asks the right questions. She listens to parents and her patients and is t dismissive. My son has been seeing her for a few years and she has been wonderful with him. He has special needs so she is extra patient with him. Not many doctors are like this with special needs kids. Any of the poor rating that were left are not accurate. Especially the one left in September 2020. She does not treat adults. Please ask parents how she is with their kids and we will tell you SHE IS THE BEST!

Every visit is made comfortable and is filled laughs. Regardless of my health or disposition, Dr. Hashmi always does an amazing job at making myself (and other patients) feel as comfortable as possible. She also likes to joke around so she’ll probably make you laugh at least once every visit. She’s wonderful. She is so sweet & caring AND, SO smart. Dr. Hashmi will do anything in her power to do her job successfully and make you feel better. I was at the lowest point of my life 5 years ago and would not be where I am today (in remission) if it hadn’t been for her. Individuals like her are the kinds of people we need in this field. I highly recommend this practice. Wonderful with my preemie. She was very informative, helpful, straight to the point. My baby was finally happy once her tummy/reflux issues were resolved.

We loved working with Dr. Hashmi! We drove over an hour for her expertise. She was attentive to our daughter's needs and she made her feel so comfortable. It was the worst doctor I have been to I had problems with stomach for awhile and finally my doctor sent me here and she told to go exercise 30 mins a day and walk out the door and we did not solve anything but she gave me murlax and after that my stomach was upset as I had gallstones she did not to want to look or even care she kept I saying I was Constipated and to take more of the crap to help you but know I went to the hospital and finally the said you should your glabladder removed it was really inflamed and I could have died or got really sick because you did not to look at as you should have I will never come back to this office so don’t go to her just don’t

Dr. Hashmi is very knowledgeable in pediatric GI issues and greatly helped my son over the past several months get his reflux under control and guide us as he was dealing with a dairy and soy allergy. She is kind, gentle, and was so wonderful with my son every visit. I would definitely recommend her to anyone with children needing a GI specialist.

Dr. Hashmi is an AMAZING doctor. She listened to our concerns about our daughter and worked with us to get a treatment plan for her. She is so very kind and gentle and our 5 year old loved her. Dr. Hashmi is so good with kids and patient. She explained everything and addressed our concerns. I would highly recommend her to any child with GI needs.

I would never recommend this doctor!! We left Dr. Hashmi. She pushed medications on my son and when he had bad reactions to them she was no help at all. She would not explain medications to us. Many questions were not answered about his illness. When we told her to transfer his records to his new doctor she behaved very unprofessionally not only to me, but she was nasty to my son. She is not fit to be a pediatric doctor.

A pediatric gastroenterologist in Buffalo wouldn't see my son until five weeks out. Our pediatrician referred us to Dr. Hashmi on a Friday. We were in Dr. Hashmi's office the following Monday. Dr. Hashmi listened to my son and me, pressed on my son's stomach and said, "You are full of poop." Dr. Hashmi ordered him to clean out, have an x-ray, take MiraLax and increase fiber in his diet. We followed with two more visits and my son is cured. Dr. Hashmi is so personable and kind. She has a smile that put this mom at ease. Dr. Hashmi has a nice sense of humor. She took good care of my son and I would recommend her to anyone needing pediatric gastroenterology services. Dr. Hashmi was well worth the trips to Batavia.

We saw Dr. Hashmi as our infant had a dairy allergy until he grew out of it at 1 year. She is very straightforward with information, she listened to our concerns, and bedside manner was incredible. Our infant was always happy to see her and interact with her. Don’t be turned away by the nurses as they are NOT as friendly as the doctors. My daughter was violently ill and never stopped crying, finally after labs X-ray and ultrasound we got referred to gastroenterologist. We called URMC and the wait was 6 weeks! We had a baby who was down a 1lb in 3 days we didn’t have time! We called and got into Dr Hashmi in 6 days! Words can never express how thankful we are! From fighting our insurance to pay for formula to calling us back personally anytime we had questions! She was never annoyed with our questions and always took our concerns seriously. She saved our daughters life! We could never thank her enough! If you feel lost alone and scared call her and you will find your way! We drive 45 min to see her and I would drive hours if I had to!!

She is always really nice and welcoming to all of her patients. She is very thorough and takes as long as you need in an appointment. If there is ever any issue you can always contact her and she will get back to you in a timely manor. She will always guide you in the decisions you need to make. She is overall a very good doctor.

A fantastic doctor!

Excellent doctor. I highly recommend. Friendly. She is easy to engage with and ask questions. Properly diagnosed my son after a period of issues and he is now recovered and doing very well.

We searched WNY for a Pediatric Gastro, with little luck. They are hard to find, and harder to see. Then we found Dr. Hashmi... a God-send!! She lives in Williamsville, but set up practice in Batavia to serve the Buffalo and Rochester communities. The drive from Williamsville is an easy 35 minutes of Thruway...and worth it!! She is kind, very smart, and you can get an appointment. She diagnosed and treated our 17 year old daughter when no one else would, or could. We recommend her highly. Both of our sons see Dr. Hashmi. She is an amazing doctor as well as an amazing human being ! Our oldest son has moderate to severe autism and she is beyond patient with him. He had extremely severe reflux which was causing him to throw up in his sleep nightly. he had extremely severe reflux which was causing him to throw up in the sleep nightly. Because of her dedication and hard work we were able to get his reflux in check with medication and he very seldom gets iill while sleeping anymore. When our pediatrician recommended that we take our son to a gastroenterologist she told us that Dr. Hashmi was well worth the 40 minute drive. We love Dr Hashmi! She took care of my set of twins as if they were her own children. We recently "graduated" from the practice and we will truly miss her and her pleasant staff. She is the top pediatric gastro in the WNY area.

Dr. Hashmi is a quintessential doctor who effectively diagnosed and treated my daughter so effectively that she is back to full health! It truly was a gift to have Dr. Hashmi's comprehensive and superior medical expertise topped off with her compassionate disposition. Highly recommend!!

Dr Hashmi was excellent with my daughter. When we first visited with her she was determined to find out why my daughter had her problems. She was very professional and easy to talk to.

We searched WNY for a Pediatric Gastro. They aren't easy to find, and then they aren't easy to see. And then we found Dr. Hashmi, and she was a God-send. She was able to diagnose our 17 year old daughter when no one else could, or would. 17 is a difficult age, because you're not really a kid, and a regular Gastro will only see you starting at age 18. Dr. Hashmi has a wonderful manner, you can get an appointment, and the drive from Williamsville is just 35 minutes. ...and worth it !!

I'm so happy to have found Dr. Hashmi for my son. She's so kind and caring, and has a wonderful way with kids. She's always willing to take the time to explain what tests she's ordering and why, and also explain the results and what they mean. This means so much to me, since I actually work in GI, and appreciate not being treated as a nurse, but a concerned mother. I highly recommend her!

We love Dr. Hashmi! She helped both my sons with different stomach issues. They are even off medications now and have been released from care. If a problem arises in the future we will definitely be going back to see Dr. Hashmi. She is kind and really listens to the kids to learn what they are experiencing.

Dr. Hashmi was wonderful! It felt like my son was her top priority. When our pediatrician recommended that we take our son to a gastroenterologist she told us that Dr. Hashmi was well worth the 40 minute drive. We are so happy with the decision. She was very kind and caring. She listened to everything, made recommendations, and made me feel comfortable. She also was very prompt returning phone calls and discussing ideas for the next steps. My son is happy and healthy!

Dr. Hashmi is an wonderful doctor. She has the kindest soul and best bedside manner, while at the same time being quick and to the point when it comes to diagnosing and treating a patient. She takes the time to listen thoroughly to your entire situation and then sit and make a plan to help you feel your best. Her staff is great about scheduling and making appointments as well. If you're looking for a gastroenterologist, look no further because Dr. Hashmi is the best there is. The drive out from Buffalo to Batavia is definitely worth it. Dr. Hashmi is an wonderful doctor.
