Hugh Phong Wong

Hugh Wong has a lot of nerve calling himself a doctor. If he wasn't the only physician at the clinic, no one would see this arrogant man willingly. He ignores concerns, and calls people fat in exactly that word (poor man obviously doesn't look in his own mirror often). There is a lot of eye rolling, interrupting, and judging...not a lot of help. Coffee in the mornings and marijuana at any time of the day are the reason you are sick, and its your own fault. After I left his office, I found a real doctor and found out I had an issue that could have cost me my life....and it was related to my sleep disorder. The staff is great!!! They deserve a real doctor in that office, and so do the patients.

Dr Wong did good by me. At first I was not certain and he could tell. He took the time to explain everything. Then the lady in respiratory therapy really tried hard to help me. I could not recommend a better yram

Very brush and does not listen to the patient very well. Treats women like men when it comes to prescribing sleep equipment...i.e. gave me ResMed Airsense 10 instead of Airsense 10 for Her which is a machine made for women's specific sleep patterns and needs. I tell him the machine is blowing too much air at night, wakes me up, asked him to lower the pressure but would not. He is arrogant and does not listen to the patients needs!!!

Went to get a prescription to get my bipap. He asked why i had not been in the past few years, told him there was no reason to come in unless i needed s script like today, to get my machine fixed.......his attitude to a quick turn when i said i needed all the paperwork work to take to Broadway Home Medical to get my machine fixed. He said it will be faxed and i said no i must carry it to them when i leave here. He then took me to a woman i presimed to be his nurse or assistant that again told me she would fax the script. Again i reiterated that i had to hand carry and that i had also told dr wong that. She got done with thebpaper work walk me to te reception area, made copies of a stack of papers and handed them to me. When i got to Broadway Home Medical i found out i was not given ALL of what i needed she omitted the face to face report for medicare, so i had to go another night with out sleep as i apnea nearly 200 times per hour without the machine. Now i am contemplating charges.

My first visit to Dr. Wong was straight up 5-stars all the way. The support staff went over all my cpap history thoroughly. When Dr. Wong came in to go over everything he was friendly, he took plenty of time being attentively working thru my needs with me AND he spent extra time to connect and build a good positive relationship with me. I left my review on another site and noticed that 6 of his 5-star reviews from that site somehow managed to be posted in 2 days. Now as for my experience, he has no bed side manner at all. I have had a lot of doctor appointments in my lifetime and this is the first time I have ever gotten up and left before it was over. He does not listen to the patient's concerns, he is rude and will interrupt you. He made it very clear that if he doesn't agree with your concern he will not even address it. That is why I left. In my opinion, find another doctor, even a mediocre doctor would be a vast improvement. Dr. Wong refuses to up my air pressure to a normal range for 2 weeks. He expects me to suffer when I have MORBID obesity. He doesn't care that I'm still snoring and experiencing bed-wetting and mood swings. They even refus to get me an appointment within two weeks. Egotistical and pompous and difficult to work with. What a shame....
