Dr. Hugh William Murray

As a base I give out 4's, 5 if the service was exceptional and a comment if it went beyond that. Dr. Murray splits his time with his office and the VA, which I find admirable in and of itself, though it does limit his availability somewhat. He is clear and informative while explaining treatment options. IMHO his prices are a very reasonable. I am still undergoing treatment and my faith in his judgement and advice is over the top. Great trip to the doc. They are super friendly and addressed my ankle problem swiftly but thorough. X-rays and a a diagnoses swiftly and with grea attention. I'm feeling better already thnx

I was in pain with both of my feet for almost a year. I finally was referred to Dr. Murray by my primary physician. He listened & was able to identify the chronic pain I was experiencing. He suggested the perfect house shoes that he had available. They are affordable & worth to have to keep my feet feeling comfortable & free of pain. Dr. Murray's front desk lady also is so kind & very welcoming. She greets you with a smile & conversational to you. I would refer everyone to Dr. Murray's office. Cons: Closed on Thursdays. Doesn't have website. Has a flip phone. Pros: This doctor is the kind of doctor that one rarely encounters anymore. He's personable, informative, knowledgeable, caring, patient, doesn't talk to you like you're a lower life form. He enjoys his work and it shows. Although he's older, he's not some crusty, old doc; he's active and vibrant. He is a marathon runner, and he and his wife love to go to to the mountains with their dog. I took my high functioning autistic adult son to him for an ingrown toenail. My son had anxiety about the shots he'd be receiving (to numb his toe). Doc Murray talked to him about other things, distracting my son during the entire process. 5 stars 2 weeks later: Took my other son in for ingrown nail. I went for plantar fasciitis. Dr. Murry diagnosed me, let me decide if I wanted a shot or not, (I did), told me all the calf and foot stretches I needed to do, and was very kind. The shot was magical, the plantar fasciitis healed, and insurance paid for it.

Had a sore foot. He gave me a shot (no ex rays ever taken) that worked for about 2 weeks. Went back 3 weeks later still same problem. Gave 2 shot. The shot did not help at all and I got a $300.00 bill from the insurance saying they would not cover the 2nd shot. They (the doctor office) should know it it is covered or not. This is the office just being lazy and not caring about there customers and it showed in Dr. Murray just giving shots and guessing. His guess was wrong. STAY AWAY!

Dr.Murray is a very intelligent Podiatrist, he is a considerate doctor. He was recommended to me by Dr.Draper, also a doctor with kind bedside mannerisms. Dr. Murray is a fantastic guy and I would highly reccomend him. There aren"t too many out there with such natural kindness.

He did not seem to care about me personally. He lumped me in with other 'older' women and made many assumptions about me based upon this. Any physician that recommends that we wait to perform a simple surgery until the pain is unbearable is not someone I want taking care of me.
