I am very fortunate to have found Dr Weiss, he and staff have always been courteous and prompt with any calls and the treatments available. I've been under his care for 4 years,

Office takes a long time to respond to calls. Took almost a week to get a response to even get an appointment set-up. Office front loads appointments with Nurse Practitioner instead of doctor. Front office rude on phone and often does not assist and have an no care attitude. Nurse however seems to care but you have to go through the hoops with multiple appointments in my opinion before you even get to a the physician racking up the cost. I went here for many years my regular doctor moved out of town and I had to go with doctor Weiss he changed my pump and put the wrong medicine in it and made me blue code Never got an apology or nothing from him I don't have really much to say about him but that something I will never never forget now when I go to OfS hospital I have panic attacks thank you for your bed experience and never apologizing to me ???????????????????????????? This man, nurse practitioner, and staff have been through everything with me, I'm going on 16 years with him and he's never gave up on me, or treatments to offer me. Truly blessed to have him and staff to work with, and care! Why this is in my name no idea, he's treated my wife Kari

I have suffered from debilitating back pain for many years. I have seen so many doctors that I have lost count. Dr. Weiss was a refreshing change. He actually listens and is willing to continue different options until we found something to help. The pain never goes away completely but with the expertise of Dr.Weiss and his staff I have a much better quality of life. Dr.Weiss is a very kind man. Over the years I had to change my primary care physician a few times and drive from DeKalb to keep Dr.Weiss as my pain management specialist. Wouldn't even schedule me. I'm post hip surgery. Said they wouldn't take over for someone else. (Previous pain management stopped taking my insurance) Literally said "the doctor doesn't think he can help her." They didn't even talk to me or try to see what I needed. Was looking for injections! Dr. Weiss listens when I speak, he doesn't miss any details. I never feel as though he is rushed or that my pain doesn't matter. He works with me to come up with the best treatment plan. His staff has been exceptional as well!!!

After 5 years of dealing with back pain and leg pain, Dr Weiss has went above and beyond any Dr I've have seen in 3 other states. I have went from a steady 7-8 pain level daily to a 3-4 especially in the last few months with the spinal simulator. I would recommend him to anyone looking to better their daily life.

Dr. Howard Weiss is a joke and should have his license revoked. He does not care about patient care, he cares about lining his pockets with expensive injections that left me in more pain. When I returned to him saying I was in more pain he treated me like a pill pusher, accusing me of seeing my hydrocodone 5mg. ( I was prepscribed 4 x daily) he then suggested I go on a fentanyl or methadone treatment. What the hell. Talk about addicting drugs. He was so contradictory. I left his office then.

Have seen Dr. Weiss a number of years. My insurance changed and the pain management specialist were marginal. I pay a premium to see Dr. Weiss since he is out of network. Getting in to see him can take time, however when I had an emergency he expedited me and made accommodation via phone.

Tried to get an urgent appointment twice...didn't happen. 4-5 WEEK wait, and in severe pain. I live in Freeport where Dr. Weiss only comes once a week. Didn't matter how much pain I was in, he was booked up. Out of the last 2 of 3 appointments I had with him to get an injection, I had over an hour and a half wait from the time my appt. was scheduled for. It seems that phone calls from who-knows-who take top priority with him. Once he even came into the procedure room talking on the phone.
